Here's yet another Gus Lord/Fatty Lord Estia/Lord drip tip. My first atty with adjustable air AND juice flow. Tri-coil takes a bit more work than I've done before, but wow - Great piece of gear!

The object the foreground shows why I HAD to have the Lord ;)

Hey everybody...

I made the request on Site Feedback a couple days ago to get an authentic/high-end subforum.

The admin and a mod basically said it wasn't likely and that we would have to make a high end social group which doesn't allow clone talk. I think this is what we should do actually. Whoever starts it (I will if that's what you guys want to do, or someone else can) just post a one time notification here to let everyone know, and bam.

It's pretty irritating that 90%+ of the threads in the "APV Discussion" forum are for clones. I've all but quit posting here because of it, and when I do post, it's chewing someone out for clonetalk, which I don't even like doing. I just slip and fire off posts because I find it frustrating. Even taking into account the many of us/you that aren't inherently against clones and have no desire to alienate people (I don't either, really), I think it would be nice for authentic-lovers to have a larger space for that type of discussion than one or two threads, without clones ever joining the fray.

So, who wants to do an Authentic Social Group?

I will start it, but I don't want to bother if no one is going to come. I'm sure the pro-clone guys would like it better if the authentic-only people had a spot, as well, considering the vast number of arguments and threads ruined here lately discussing the issue. Please note, this is nothing personal against anybody; my own brother buys clones. That's kinda why I am pushing for this...if I personally had a spot to go to where I knew the issue wouldn't even be brought up, I would never feel compelled to talk about it again, at least in the same manner.

Let me know what you guys think...

Here's what i don't get: ECF has done a great job keeping this site squeeky clean in terms of topics that are not appropriate, etc. I would assume that ECF would also want to steer clear of things that are illegal in nature. Cloning by its very nature is not legal... Now.. i know there are hurdles to jump over to stop cloning (cant stop china, etc..etc..etc..) and that many small operations haven't trademarked, etc... But that all has to do with enforcement rather than its actual legality. I equate this to the blackmarket DVDs and/or purses,etc..etc..etc.. all of which are illegal, but very difficult to enforce. I get all that...

BUT... here at ECF, it would seem that the moderators would want to steer clear of things that cast a bad light upon vaping as a whole... and certainly, supporting any kind of blackmarket and allowing open discussions about obviously cloned devices seems, to me at least, bordering on an overall image ECF would be wise to avoid. If ECF wants to keep a clean image of vaping... clones are certainly a black eye in that regard...

Just my thoughts...

Edit: I can almost see the headlines already... the vaping industry thrives in the black market... more regulation is the answer to control this renegade industry... etc..etc.. Just more hype for the media...

While I agree with you. This isn't the place to discuss this.

M,
You got dual wicks under the hood of the turbine?

Yup, got dual 3/4 30g kanthal wrapped on silica in there. What I do is I have 3 strands of 2mm silica wrapped with the coil. 2 of the strands were cut while 1 is seeped through the wick hole for saturation. It wicks quite well; Flavor is on point and vapor production is dense and immense. However, when I say "immense" I don't mean dripper clouds but it's definitely substantial.
