Hahaha! No. I know what the aeolipile is, I have two v3's, a heron, and a SnP that all have the aeolipile on them.

I'm referring to the two circles about 1/4" above the switch on the v3 on the left, and slightly below and on either side of the GP logo on the v3 on the right. Some kind of clear wrap?
Good eye, looks to be just that, a wrap intended for the V2.5 and placed for tube vents.

i want to coat both of my cartels with ceramic or rhodium...
something durable and clear that will keep them perma-polished...
any suggestions?
I bought really good clear vinyl from a guy that does wraps on high end cars and wrapped my ss lux and my brass lux and I'm very happy with the outcome. I've only had the brass tube covered for a week or so but as far as I can tell it's not getting any patina at all, and I did a crappy job, I figured I'd leave it alone and rewrap it now carefully when it started to show and it's still looking brand new.

I also really like the feeling of the vinyl, it's very slick and easy to wipe excess juice drippings and it's just thick enough to keep it from getting scratched, that's why I also did the stainless one.
I'm really happy with both of mine, I couldn't polish my tube everyday, and I don't like the dull patina of dirty brass.

Museums use wax on their copper. It's not permanent, but it lasts a pretty long time. Can be removed fairly easily too. Just my suggestion.

do you have a pic of what you're referring to? I don't see two circles on my v3...

My constantly changing rotation.

Hope to be able to score a Glas mod sometime soon.

Idaho nailed it. It's a wrap for the 2.5 which had vents in the tube, not the switch. I couldn't figure out what they were for.

If you were forced to choose between the Nahualon or Sat22, which one would you choose and why? How does it compare to a Rocket w/ its micro-chamber single coil?

I have no clue. I'm not a genny guy. I've only got two, a ZAP that I really never use and an Orion v2.1 that I need to replace the switch on.

The mods and attys pictured in my above post were in a quote from eme247.
