Yeah definitely be careful. Get a couple VTC5s and use those. Still will be in the danger zone but under the burst amp rate at least.

You shouldnt be subohming if you dont know how to find the amp limits of your batteries!

I hear amazing things from everyone who received the In'ax recently. Apparently the thing has amazing flavor and wicking, but it's a bit fiddly getting it set up with 28 gauge or bigger wire.

I remember watching the video on how to set it up and it still confuses me. The lack of a positive screw threw me for a loop. It uses a spring almost to secure the positive lead down if I remember correctly. Seems like it could get complicated! Certainly looks amazing though. Id love to hear more about it.

Doesn't the In'ax come with different sized fasteners for different gauges? I could be mistaken it for another.

So I just received my authentic Mephisto today. Look at the size of the post holes in this thing! I can't imagine any sane person utilizing the whole ID of those holes!!

Throw a parallel 22g parallel in there! I cant imagine the vape would be all that great but it would certainly fit!
Haha yeah I just don't know if I have a battery that'll be able to hang with that build! We'll see though.....these post holes, at the very least, should make building pretty easy!
I've heard that the V1 in'ax is better than the V2. Folks are saying they preferred the older non adjustable air flow.
Yeah I doubt much safely could handle it! I can imagine that will be nice for builds. They look like 3/32 holes, maybe larger!

Factor voltage drop in at this low of a load, and Im nowhere near drawing 100 amps. Ive been vaping super sub ohm with both my Samsungs (which are MUCH better than the sonys, not sure why I dont see them mentioned here) for quite some time now, sometimes a good amount lower than .1. (Im talking .03)
I understand many of you guys dont understand super sub ohm vaping and refuse to believe that it's safe, and thats ok. But there is a group Im active in (20,000 members large) ALL vaping as low or lower and I have yet to hear about one venting battery the entire time Ive been part of it.
If vaping a .1ohm build with these samsungs was stressing them, theyd get warm....I can chain vape, taking the biggest pulls possible, over and over and over and the cells dont even get warm let alone hot.
Ive been doing this for a while now, and understand the limits of my batteries. I did take notice of another guy getting lectured about something similar while I was lurking. I will avoid posting pictures of my builds from now on I suppose which is unfortunate.

I am just wondering how you know you're vaping at .03?? I have a top-of-the-line Fluke DMM that I use daily for work, and it won't even tell me whether something that low is accurate or not. You must have some super-crazy equipment to tell you that you're accurately vaping at .03......

Just picked up a BCV XXIX from a member over on CV. Pretty stoked on this guy coming in. Need to pick up another dripper soon I think as well. Any recommendations on something that looks good on the XXIX? I am thinking I may pick up another Odin but it may be problematic with the hybrid type top cap. Any input helps.
How about an APO? I have one in copper (it's 22mm) and I bet it would look pretty good on an xxix! Vapes VERY well too!

We're going to agree to disagree...The continuous amp ratings mean nothing to me, and shouldnt mean anything to any vaper unless you're capable of taking a 20min straight pull or something...or if you just want to be cautious in case of an auto fire. As long as I wont be holding the switch until the entire battery is discharged, the continuous limit really doesnt apply much to the way I vape. But the samsungs can handle pulses of 100 amps, and the sonys can handle (very short) pulses of 150 amps, both of which are nearly impossible to hit with a mechanical tube mod.
Ill come back and quote you if I ever vent a battery.

I don't think anyone's trying to argue here. We all just have a tendency to look out for one another as vapers.....at least we should!!
I was just curious how you measure resistance that low? Because I work with electronics all day every day, and with every scope/meter I've ever used, .03 is considered a dead short.....I was just curious what methods you use...it was an honest question I swear!
.03 Ohms, with a freshly charged battery is 140 Amps.....

@crazyarms I love my quasar, I run it @0.33ohm it's killer I'm a flavor ....., in copper it might just look too good on the XXIX. That being said I haven't owned an odin yet but if I built an atty that's what it around look like, may be awesome too.

I really like my Odin. Only issue I ran into with it was that it is a smaller diameter than the tube I was running it on and it would push the cap up and suck the base down into the tube when using it with a hybrid adapter. I am hoping it doesn't do that with the hybrid top cap but who knows. I have always like the look of the quasar and really wanted a SS one for a while, I'm gonna look into the copper version.

I dont vape that low, so I have no idea the exact equipment they use.
I worded my post wrong, my apologies. I was trying to say there are people out there that have been vaping that low for over a year now without a single vent. I personally dont vape any lower than .07 or so. Not sure how my post ended up worded like that. Long day of work lol.
