I would love to see a 18650 mod the size of a 26650 mech mod with a dna chip inside, is there any (does it even fit?) I like tubes and don't really mind the diameter that much but hate long stuff and I'm not into boxes yet

is there any??

If you don't need a screen, I LOVE the EPM (dual 18650 or dual 18490). Only goes to 34w though. It actually feels funny typing "Only" and "34w" in the same sentence.

I believe there is. IIRC qorax posted a thread about something like you are talking about. I'll see if I can find it.

Found it. It is actually the 15th post in this very thread ==> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...407-high-end-regulated-mods.html#post14299630.

I searched the forums for the original post but that must've been posted somewhere else because user nikos.1978 was not found. Unfortunately, Q didn't leave any links to find out more or where to purchase. I imagine he got that off of some FB group. Perhaps he will chime in and let you know more about it.

Just found this as well: https://www.facebook.com/nikos.patsos/posts/10203407065528716

That's the SAOS-DNA30 Mod, made by a new player, Vape Workers Ltd. Greece. They're on the Wall and Fb, links below:

Unfortunately this is their first attempt and the device has some issues per the feedback of the first purchasers (qty 30). However, they are fixing it. Overall, if the thing works right - it is just the type of regulated mod that I like. I too, like Vapero, prefer tube mods.

I never liked the form factor of box mods personally and stuck with tube mods. I just didn't like the blocky look and felt that it just wouldn't feel right to me when held. That is until the Vapor Flask was introduced. Perfect ergonomical feel as far as I'm concerned. Dual 18650's is a major plus as well. I now own two.

Oh I own one too, the VaporShark DNA.

I actually enjoy both (boxes and tubes). Not all of either, but some of each. I LOVE the Billet Boxes & EPM's, and the Provi Titanium is simply wonderful. I'm not crazy about some of the larger, bulkier boxes, but they'll do.

I'll you what's a pretty funny little thing (although not quite "high end") - these little iStick thingies. The power readings are miles off, but if you vape-to-taste (as I do), the numbers are meaningless anyway. At $30, or whatever they are, it's not bad! And it's freaking TINY to boot.

Now I'm probably going to get banned from this thread for even mentioning it, but hey, life's short.

Yes, there are HUGE QC issues with this mod. Please stay away from it until everything gets sorted out. Bad buttons, bad soldering, top cap is held on by an O-Ring and not threaded, the negative spring is terrible quality. I wouldn't even say QC issues the mod was just horribly made.

I never cared for box mods, but the more I wanted extra battery life while being regulated, I just had to learn to deal with it

function over form is the way I look at it. grows on you I suppose

I have one more peeve/issue. I like 'daily/easily replaceable batteries' over onboard USB charging. Which is why the Flask favours my palate.

I was bummed when I saw the posts of FB for the SAOS. Darn. I'd like a tube mod of a small size. Little hands make most box mods uncomfortable to hold for any period of time.

I'm trying to decide what to get that would qualify posting here :)

I'm concerned about the scratches to the WEAII and expect a WEAIII will follow after the GEM is released anyway. I'm not hard on my mods, or worry about a ding or two, but the WEA seems prone to scratches and I don't want to wrap it. The Zen, while not precisely a tube, looks to be small enough that I could handle it, but it doesn't seem to get much love either. I don't know if that's personality or product. Ack.. My Provari's are fine, I'm looking to add something nice to the rotation. Last month was my 1yr vaperversary and Christmas is coming so I think something special is called for.

That's a damn shame as that's a pretty good looking reg'd mod. Sounds as if QC was non-existant with that first 30 unit release.

I don't know if this classifies as "high end", but I'll post it anyway.

I just got this Vaporshark rDNA 30 a few days ago. I travel a lot for work, so I got this to function as my travel rig. Up till now I was strictly a mechanical guy, but I'm really enjoying using this Vaporshark! I really wanted a DNA 40, but I didn't feel like waiting for one. I'm leaving for a long business trip on Monday and With the DNA 30, I was able to get it overnighted to me!

So far it's treating me very well! Here it is with a Sat22 on top.
