Actually, I've just run into a new issue with 2 of my Flasks. I inserted two fully charged batteries, hit the fire button once and it read half full. Didn't even make it through a full 8 hour work day and it was saying "Weak Battery". Got home, pulled the batts and checked them on the DMM. They both read 3.98v.

Reading around on fb and I find that this is the latest issue. The board scramble seems to have finally been squared away and now this.

Crap buddy, you've been having all sorts of bad luck with those! Making me think i made the right move just buying an inexpensive Sig 150w (and some iStick 50w'ers lol - couldn't resist those little guys!) to hold me over until the spring when Evolv will hopefully have the 40 issues sorted (maybe a new board?) and YiHi will have the SX350J chip available in new devices. Seems like a sketchy time to jump in with the DNA 40. I honestly wish Vapor Flask had a SX350 120w option! But i know how their major foundation is on all american made... which i can respect and appreciate. But damn, that would be a fine mod! That board 350 (and 330) board rocks.

Yeah, me too. Trust me, I never thought I'd be showing off anything made in China, but this thing is impressive.

Evolv should be worried.

What in the world does: "Three modes: powerful, standard, soft", mean?

SOFT = Starts firing 10W under your setting, and ramps up to your setting.
STANDARD = Fires at your setting.
POWERFUL = Starts firing 10W over your setting, and ramps down to your setting. Helpful for heating up larger wires.
