Why you didn't want to take a chance with it? It has spring on bottom, and any battery should fit well. Or is it something else u r worried about?

I think, like me, Siam Diesel prefers spring-loaded (aka self adjusting) 510 centre pins. For the mod to atomizer connection. :)

Yep, that's it exactly! I have to adjust the center pin on my WAE II occasionally (which is ok). But a fixed 510 center pin is always an iffy proposition with the plethora of attys available now.

Doesn't extreme V2 also has floating pin on atty connection? This part on 2380 shown downside is floating pin towards battery. Its 2 different things. Between theese 2 contact (atty and battery) is dicodes chip, it isn't standard floating pin in 2 directions. Or i'm wrong?

Damn. Now i'm really dissapointed. I just dont get it, why there isn't floating pin... Was lurking extreme v2 in 18350 version for smallest mod as possible, now ill have to turn the page to 2380.
Well, you won't be disappointed, trust me ;)

The 2380 is a wee bit heavier (350 mode; 135 gms vs. 99 gms) and a bit longer (350 mode; 84 mm vs. 74mm) but it's worth it for the floating center pin alone not to mention the ability to configure it as you like.

I doesn't matter how heavy it is but size is another thing. I just want it as small as possible... Don't like to have a rod. It needs to dissapear in my hand.

Who knows, maybe it isn't even efficient in 18350 mode. Then i will not be that much into it. Waiting dems to geive some feedback in 18350. Go dems :)
It won't be any less efficient than the Extreme v2 in 350 mode though, short of stacking and opening it up to 80watts, they are the same basic chip I think.

Although, the contacts look better on the 2380 (no spring on the bottom cap either) so it might be more efficient than the v2 even ;)

I'll give it a go for you though, so no worries. I'll also get some comparative shots in 350/500 modes next to other mods :)

18350 mode test commencing, just popped in a fresh battery, and a fresh full tank of The Milk by Telios (which is amazing btw)

15watts with a power boost of 5. I'll check back when the batt is around 3.3ish (unless you prefer to know at a different batt voltage?)
