Anyone try these AW 10280 Unprotected Rechargeable Lithium Battery with their p10. Just curious about any input anyone may have.

Morning Knucks!

I'm pretty sure two of those stacked would be way too long to fit in. If one wants some extra hit, the AW 10440 ICR holds higher voltage under load and lasts longer then the IMR 10440. I've load tested them. Will post graph today. Promise:)

As Promised:

IMR 10440 VS AW ICR 10440, both test out with similar mAh ratings, but look at how the AW battery can hold up to 2 tenths of a volt higher under load througout its lifespan. Even at a miminal .4 amp load it's outperforming the IMR 10440! Switch to the AW ICR 10440's on your P10 if you haven't already, you'll gain more vapor and throat hit and no loss in longevity.

David, I cant find the irc batts on your site. Do you have them?

The ICR are the AW 10440 on the site, the picture is just old. I have several of both the ICR and the IMR, and the ICR do work better.

Now if we could just get the new new rhodium post and switch soon for the p10, I will be in heaven.

Heck yeah! I want to use my p10 again, but when comparing the hit to a P+350 I dont really see the point, I can not wait for the upgrade.

Is this consistent across the sizes? Ie does the ICR123s outperform the IMRs?

Asking in regard to the 16340 in the P16, when using LR attys.
Have always heard the IMRs are the battery to get
(though haven't tried them)

This battery test pitted a non AW brand IMR 10440 (AW does not make a IMR 10440) vs an AW ICR 10440.

AW's quality is such that even AW's Protected batteries outperform many manufacturers so called "IMR " batteries.

If you compare a Protected Lithium-ion AW to an IMR AW, the IMR will hold voltage under load better up until about half way through their life, at which time the Lithium-Ion will pass it by.

Also, i no longer recommend the AW P18650 2900mah battery for use in mods with an LR, it doesn't hold load as well as the AW P18650 2600mah or IMR 1600mah, much better choices. (which is funny, i still sell more 2900mah, people just can't resist the "bigger" number).

heres an example:
