If wattage remains the same and you change volts and ohms current will be higher on the lower ohms method.
8 watts and 2.4 ohms and 4.4 volts = 1.8 amps
8 watts and 1.8 ohms and 3.8 volts = 2.1 amps.
So the higher ohms and volts is better for the battery but a trade off is that if the coil is bigger it will take longer to heat up IME. Plus you can't use the higher ohms coils on some batteries if you want the max wattage/vapor.
Dont forget cooler or warmer vape........I absolutely detest any kind of warm liquids, dont drink coffee, hot chocolate or even soup until its almost lukewarm, so for me I prefer a much cooler vape and your not going to get that at higher voltages and resistances.
one word = Flavor,,, I cant get the flavor I want on the higher ohm/higher volts, therefor lower ohm coils work better for me and pushing them to the max Watts for peak performance/flavor/vapor combo
