Hello to all you veterans! I have a really simple question for all you elite members.

I want to get more vapor out of my nautilus, and I have my MVP 2.0, which makes me able to run anywhere from 6-11 watts through any 510 device. So, here is my question.
Can I run 10-11 watts through a 1.8 Ohm atomizer without burning it out?

I know all about proper voltage in every resistance level, but wattage, not so much. On the chart I see for volts, the ideal wattage is shown at around 8w. But I'm really not sure if this chart is accurate for wattage.

    Thank you so much!

Xavier has a good answer on the main question and I have nothing to add to that.

I just want to point out that any chart, or anything else, that notes a range of "best" or "recommended" wattage or voltage for vaping is one person's opinion based on their tastes and equipment. They should be considered as absolute as a blog saying that French fries must be dipped in olive oil infused balsamic vinegar to be any good.

Power in watts = voltage squared divided by resistance

    4.3 volts x 4.3 volts / 1.8 ohms =10.27 watts

Then you have a current limit

Amps = voltage divided by resistance

    4.3 / 1.8 = 2.38 amps

You should be within limits on your MVP.

It's easier if you go here and use the calculator.

have you considered looking at the juice rather than the device?

you can only go so high in watts, before the taste is no longer desirable, as described above....

try looking for a juice with higher VG content.
bare in mind, that higher VG juice wicks slower in certain tanks.
