Does anyone know what the highest mah is available for a regulated KR808 battery? I think I've decided I want to stick with a regulated KR808, I'm tired of burning my cartos on a freshly charged unregulated battery. But I want as long a charge as possible. I haven't had much luck finding mah on the vendors' sites. I assume the longer the battery, the higher the mah? Is that a safe assumption? I really want to know the exact mah though.

I remembered that I had a Volt from when I started vaping back in August. One of the batteries in the kit was defective, and the replacement they sent was also defective, so I stashed the kit in the back of a drawer and had pretty much had forgotten about it. I dug it out and tried it. Just not nearly as good as the Elite. No comparison.

Has anyone used both the Volt and another model that they consider to be superior to the Volt? Are the gen 2 batteries all basically the same? If they're all the same, I'll stick with the Elite. I have a couple of juices that I like that don't burn on the full charge. I just have to remember not to try to vape chocolate until the battery is down to 2 lights. Sigh. I love my chocolate vapes.

If you go to a fat batt 808, you can get a lot higher mah. The Echo is 808 and available in 650 - 1300 mah. The VGo and iGo are 808 and available in 650 - 1100. My personal preference is the Go-Go with an 808 adapter, which is 1300 mah (both available from DiscountVapers.com - Eric is a great vendor). A fully charged battery lasts me 1.5 - 2 days of frequent vaping, and I can use all my standard 808 cartomizers, LR or HR, plus the GoCarts too. I also like that the GoGo battery is not crazy long - I do not want to feel like I am vaping a pool stick. The GoGo battery, with 808 adapter and a cartomizer attached, is fatter around but only less than 0.5" longer than a standard 87mm "cigarette-like" 808 battery with cartomizer.

I also have the Elite, which is nice, but I dislike how hot it comes off the charger. As you have noticed, the first several vapes can easily burn a cartomizer. For what it is worth, I have never noticed this problem with the GoGo batteries, as they are regulated. Fresh off the charger all the way until nearly depleted, they are smooth and solid. They are fatter though. With a cartomizer attached (and 808 adapter), they are about the same length as an Elite with cartomizer, but the battery itself is about twice as fat.

The GoGo is regulated? I didn't know that. I have one (or two - kit came with two batts), and I get burned cartomizers on that too. In fact, I think it's worse on the GoGo. Now I'm really confused! Doesn't matter though, because I like the draw on the Elite much better. The GoGo draw is too airy for me. I think I get better flavor from the Elite. I ordered a GoGo to 808 adapter so I can try my Elite cartos on the GoGo. If that works, it would solve my charge length problem. Then I'd have the best of both worlds :)

A lot of people are fans of the GoCarts, but I am not one of them (you too, it seems). The draw is not ideal and I tend to only get one refill from them before they start tasting funky. The Elite carts should work on the GoGo batteries with the 808 adapter. My personal favorite these days is the GoGo battery, 808 adapter, and SmokTek 2.0 Ohm 808 cartomizers. Never had a burn and I am getting about 15 refills on each cartomizer (with 100% VG juice, usually AVE Raf-a-Licious). Not only is the vape/flavor/TH excellent (tastes vary, of course), but it is CONSISTENT. I hate it when I have to fiddle with gear all the time trying to get it to vape right..

My two points being: I think you will love the 808 adapter on your GoGo batteries, and if you have not done so already, give the SmokTek LR 808 cartomizers a try. Boge 808D-1 / 302D Cartomizer 2.0 Ohm (Black or Stainless) - 5 Pack

Thanks! I'll definitely give those cartos a try. I did try Boge cartos once, and didn't like them at all, but I have no idea what resistance they were. It would be fantastic not to have the burning issue, and if I could get 15 refills on a cartomizer I would be thrilled! I make my own juices, and I'm using a 70/30 PG/VG base. I thought VG was harder on cartos, so hopefully I won't have any problem getting that many refills on them. I'm hoping that adapter arrives today. I'll order the new cartos, then I'll have a reason to continue stalking the mailman ;)

I have been pleasantly surprised about how long these cartomizers are lasting. I have also heard that 100% VG juice is harder on cartomizers. I have tried cartomizers from V4L, Bloog/Volt/Halo, GoGo, Elite, and V2, all with varying results. Of those, the V2 ones are my favorite. If I get more than 5 refills from any of those, I consider it a win. At less than $2 each, it is a good deal. However, none of them have been able to match the longevity, consistency, and quality (again, tastes vary) of the SmokTek LR cartomizers. I have gone through 6 of them now, and each one got at least 15 refills.

They may perform better with your PG/VG juice, but at less than $2 each, I am happy if I get 5 refills from a cartomizer with my preferred juice.

One down-side is they are only ~1ml cartomizers, but I just carry two spares in my pocket (with condoms on, of course). The LR also burns through juice a little faster than higher resistance cartomizers - maybe 10% more. In my book, a very small price to pay (a couple pennies?) for an excellent, consistent, and reliable vape.

I ordered some. I really do love the Elite cartos, and I get mine for only $1.50 each (they're not actually Elite, they're from nHaler, the DM1 cartos, but they're the same). But I only get a few refills, and I haven't had much luck with them after washing. And of course the burning issue. I usually remember to switch to a juice that doesn't burn when I use a freshly charged battery, but if the ones I just ordered don't burn, that will be even better. Have you used the LR cartos on the Elite batteries?

i am glad to hear these are your preferred cartos. they were recommended to me to use on my 808 Ego. i was a bit worried because i heard complaints about them being too airy the day after i ordered them. well, they came in the mail today so im psyched to hear this as im going to fill them tonight. i also got an echomizer to try out on my 808 ego. its a touch higher on the ohms (2.2) but its a dual coil so im expecting decent results.

i had been having bad results with my 1.5 ohm XL 808s. at first they were AMAZING, but my batt is only a 650 ego so it stopped being able to handle them. still not sure why it could then but it cant now, but hey.

I have used them with the Elite batteries (fresh off the charger too) and have never had a burning issue. I am curious to hear your experiences once you try them. Of course, need to be sure the cartomizer is saturated.

The initial fill of these takes some time, but all subsequent fills go right in. I either use a syringe to fill, or the "catro suck" method (not sure what it is called). The latter is where you put the battery end condom on, fill the top with 10 - 15 drops, even right on top of the air tube. It will pool on top. Let it sit for a minute, then with the battery end condom still on, SUCK (not blow) the top of the cartomizer hard a few times. This draws the air out of the cartomizer and displaces it with the juice. Repeat the process with another 5 - 10 drops. The cartomizer will now be fully saturated. Put on the white soft cap, remove the battery end condom, and give it a quick blow into a paper towel as usual. With this method, I get no leakage, no burns, and quick saturation of the cartomizer filler.

wow that is a new fill method to me. i think ill try it. you learn something new every day!

Haha, yeah, it is a little strange, but it works fantastic for me. Just throw the juice on top haphazardly - no worries if it pools on top of the air tube. Sometimes you have to suck really hard to get the air out, but it does saturate the filler exceptionally well.
