Well I used the same liquids, same techniques between the 2 atties, only 1 was using water to clean and 1 iso alc. I'm truly hoping it's not rust, but with my dad who used to clean rust from industrial buildings and do renovations i'm going to kinda take his 30+ yrs experience with what it looks like to believe it is.
IDK what else it could be from other than only using 100% water on it. If anyone has had similar problems or knows what could cause this??!? I haven't the slightest clue. But I do know I use your identical steps with BOTH atties. And again, the only difference with the one that did rust across the coil was I used only 100% water whereas on the other i've only used 70 - 91% iso alc.
