MIXED ON 5-30-2014

RELEASED ON 6-10-2014 @ 9:30AM CST

"Wakonda", a term used by Native Americans of the Omaha people when praying, and also applied by them to objects or phenomena regarded as sacred or mysterious. Why Wakonda? Native American influences are woven throughout our personal, and our collective, histories. The contributions of the Omaha people are many. Never known to take up arms against the U.S., the Omaha assisted the U.S. during the American Civil War. They represent some of the world's finest archers, warriors, gunsmiths, and merchants.

The Wakonda Project began as a collaborative effort between myself and Jean Luc Gerard, a French retailer whom offers a very wide selection of eliquid at ALLDAY (FR). He approached "the best eliquid makers in the world" to create a "exclusive line of eLiquid that featured the best of what every vendor had to offer." It goes without saying that Vanilla and Naturally Extracted Tobacco would play a significant roll in our contribution. His only guidance was "make me an All Day Vape." Wakonda (or, Wakanda, as he spells it) has been his best seller on ALLDAY since it's release!

Wakonda features dark roast coffee paired a naturally extracted tobacco, our in-house vanilla extract, tobacco absolute, and a dollop of vanilla custard that serves as "creme." The tobacco element serves to make the coffee 'pop', more of a lingering top note than a forward flavor. One of the notable features of the liquid is that it "vapes like the first cup of black coffee in the morning." You know, that first stout (almost bitter) sip of black coffee in the morning that greets you in the morning... the same cup that mellows out as the morning progresses until you have drained the pot? That's the one. This vapes much the same - the first few toots are very coffee forward, almost off-putting to unseasoned coffee drinkers... the seasoned know better than to be warded off by a flavor forward toot - they'll hang tough to the last drop (and enjoy every minute of it!).

Funny how it's marketed as a tobacco in France, when people here always mention the coffee first

I like being able to read reviews on AllDays. I tend to "trust" them more than I do American ones (not because they're more trustworthy, they're just closer to my own tastes and ways of describing things. And French people are pretty good complainers too ). So yeah. I will try your tobacco-café-au-lait, Mr Nicoticket.

Question: Did you adapt the recipe for the American market, or is it the exact same one as sold on AllDay ?

The recipe is one in the same... and yes, they do market it as a tobacco vape... and it is... I don't personally get much tobacco from it though. Curious to get wider feedback to refine the expectations!~

In the reviews, it's qualified as "vanilla tobacco" 3 times, "café au lait" (need I translate that ?) once, and as tasting like "vanilla, caramel, croustimiel or puffed rice (as in rice cakes)" once (croustimiel is a honey-coated cereal for kids) once.

Taste really is subjective :)

If you don't buy Wakonda you may have some serious regret issues later on in life once you hear the reviews come in.

I've been off the cigarettes for quite a while and have avoided tobacco vapes for just about 5.5 of those months. Wakonda shouted tobacco, not cigarette tobacco, but paperless really nice tobacco.

Yes the coffee is of the sort that you might find in a premium coffee house, not fluffy coffee, its a manly strong oily coffee.

To me the creamyness was very much like a side dish to me, not an addition to my morning tobacco laced coffee.

Wakonda is a mid morning stop for coffee at a street side cafe in Europe replete with a nice gigar and a ramkin of custard sprinkled with just an ever so tiny bit of cinnamon to fuel your adventure for the rest of your morning.

Pros: if your out of the woods in regards to smoking this liquid can certainly give you the pleasure of smoking without the guilt.

Flavor is bold and complex and wants you to push the power higher to find every nuance.

Cons: The bitterness in the coffee may border on the ragged edge of an overly heated brew for some.

Transitional smokers may be all to reminded of what it is like to smoke and may need to keep large quantities in hand to stave off the urge to slip back for one last drag on a fine tobacco.

If you order a little and like it, your going to hate Nicoticket for not being able to teleport you more.

Steep time: I don't know what your talking about, I cracked this one open ASAP.

Patriot dual coiled at 0.54 on a Nemesis

Overall I liked Wakonda enough to PM Kent that I hated him now. I am impressed that Nicoticket is riding a very fine line with a liquid that is very much more suited to the European market than here in the States. If you've spent some time over seas I think you might understand that statement a bit more, and still it has that density of flavor that might be a bit/lot more than some may like.

For me, bring it Nicoticket, you have a liquid here that I think is superb.

As a side note: my wife tasted sugar cookies, the spiced ones with a sprinkle of sugar and cinnamon where the edges just crisp up with a bit of caramelized sugar.

Yeah, I hate you for adding it to my last order, not!

    Nic Level: 6mg

Tank/Atomizer: TOBH dual coils 0.5ohms, cotton wick / kayfun 1.2 ohms, cotton wick

Mod: (mechanical, VV) Stingray (with TOBH) Nemesis (with kayfun)

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: This juice made me high and low, I got it as a freebie, when my NT order turned up, I was excited to see I got a freebie in with my order, then the low came, as saw I got the Wakonda and I am not into tobacco vapes, but I got curious to it, so loaded up the TOBH, I was really surprised by this Wakonda, did not taste like a tobacco vape at all to me, it is a powerful flavor profile which is hard to describe, I get vanilla, coffee, caramel and other flavors I have no idea what they are, I liked it so much I then loaded into a kayfun, with it being a strong flavor, plays well in the kayfun too.

So even if your not into tobacco vapes, I would still suggest trying this juice, I've got to pay out $500 in car tags this month, so will have to miss out on getting more, but I am now rationing myself on the 5mils I have left :)

I received a 6mg, 15ml sample from Clark when I visited his lab a little over a month ago. I have been rationing the bottle while awaiting the retail release.

First off, I have used it in both an Origen v2 RDA and a Veritas RDA using .5ohm dual micro coils using cotton wicks. I have the drippers on a Super-T ELA and JDTech Stingray.

On inhale I get hit with a big, bold coffee taste that only comes from fresh ground beans, not canned coffee. Exhale is TA with a touch of coffee. The vanilla and custard is sandwich in between the coffee and TA. I think that the NET actually makes the coffee pop on the inhale like Clark has said. I rarely taste the NET.

I find this vape compliments a cup of good coffee. I am an avid coffee drinker and one could say that coffee is my all day drink so I guess you can guess what will be my all day vape! I have told Clark that this is his best juice to date. For those that think the Virus is NT's masterpiece, you need to try Wakonda.

    500ml order sent

I am absolutely dumbfounded by the description. I swear I get a wonderful coffee with a little cream and sugar and thats it. It is an absolutely splendid vape on any build I use however I have been dripping it primarily on a mech with a .5Ω DC. It really goes to show that everyone has different taste.
