So I'm a Frenilla virgin, and I just got my first bottles today. I see all kinds of suggestions for steep times. I'm a patient guy. When should it get really good?

A couple weeks, though try it now so you can see if there is a difference in a couple weeks. Personally I won't hit my Frenila for at least two months but you may find it amazing right now. ;)

I ordered some 0 mg Frenilla (30 ml's).

I had a bottle of half-empty CLS (about 20 ml's in that) - it was aged 3 months, 18 mg. I had a separate half-empty bottle of older Frenilla, aged approximately 3 months as well, 18 mg. Both were very, very dark, but after I "seeded" (as the term goes) the fresh 0 mg Frenilla equally into the two (to make each bottle 9 mg/ml), they both tasted a bit... tangy. I thought at first my order may have contained Strawnilla at 0 mg by mistake.

Is fresh frenilla like that? Maybe I should've given the bottles 10 days of additional steeping to let the old and new liquids meld together better.

Not to worry, you put new juice in old. As a result that juice is seeded with steeped juice so it will come around pretty quick. ;)

Welcome to the family Z!~

You'll get lots of feedback - but - I would try it in the name of science so you can determine if it's worth going deep on (reorder)... and then, waiting as long as you can resist it LMAO

That's a tough one - I would steep them out and see what the results are button.

Ordered my bottle and its good got it in all most zero and its been uncapped and breathing in a dark drawer for 48+ hours. Gave it some good shakes. Vaping in a quasar 1.4 ohm 3.5 volts with readyxwick and I am getting a little hint of an acetone kind of flavor...maybe not quite but kinda maybe a little tart maybe not I am getting the hint of delicious vanilla but there is something else there. Is that just it needing to steep more? I am willing to be patient with it as I have heard amazing things with it but I have heard it can need months before it can be at its prime so I am just curious if this flavor I am getting is what this could be?

For me I like Frenila with a few months on it but two weeks minimum. And don't steep with caps off, air is bad for steeping. Just stuff it in a cool, dark drawer and wait a couple weeks. ;)

Only let it breathe for max 12 hours else the flavor start to dimish.
Also i've found that NT juice don't need to be breathed they've no chemical tastes / alcohol tastes what so ever to them. (Only tried 2 juices so far though.)

So all you've to do it let them sit in a dark drawer for awhile. And ofcourse you'll need patience (which is not my strongest point, haha!)

Tried Frenilla last night - not quite 2 weeks steeped, 18mg

I immediately got vanilla, in the best way possible.
I've said this about every NT flavor I've tried but I'll say it again; not overly sweet, not fake or perfumy or chemically-ish... spot on vanilla.

Voltage friendly. In a kayfun clone at 4.3 volts lots of vapor and very smooth. I don't like throat hit (TH feels harsh to me) and this just vapes warm and yummy.

I'll be sad when it's gone.

Steeped them for like 3-4 days and the tangy taste is reduced if not gone. Actually when I parse my lips tighter on the mouthpiece ANY juice tends to taste a bit "tangy". In two more weeks hopefully that decadent vanilla comes through again :)

Strange phenomenon?

I have frenilla in 12 nic, it got really thick in my carto with a diverv2, thick and dark.
Would getting it in 6 nic help this?

Also would it maybe do better in a kayfun as far as it getting dark and thick?
I also have it in a cartotank, 2ohm smoktech, and it is doing well though the flavor is muted.

The 6nic version would be less dark - but the consistency (PG/VG ratio) will stay consistent throughout.

I'd wrap that quasar at about .2 ohms and slap it on a mech ;)
