I am coming around to "maybe it was just bad sales copy." Someone write me an accurate description of it - honestly, I have trouble describing it (the only one have trouble describing). All I can come up with is "spicy" because that's what I get from it, but that communicates less than nothing. LMAO

Clark! That Avi is awesome!

Below is one of CorralineAlgae's reviews. And one of the best descriptions I've read (minus the marshmallow  do other people get marshmallow?). If I wasn't already a fan, I think I would really want to try Radioactive based on this description

In reading through some threads recurring themes are --

earthy/woody/smoky (I like CA's pecan shell description)
sun-dried/cured tobacco
reminiscent of root beer (i never got this till I accidentally mixed w/RBF once...now I taste it consistently)
less sweet
some prefer fresher some prefer well steeped
hard to put a finger on the flavor, but harder to put down
satisfying

This one is hard to describe. It has a dominating tobacco (a more authentic tobacco hit than H1N1 which took me by surprise), a woodsy earthiness, a lightly sweet marshmallow note, subtle vanilla, and a Special K cereal flavor . The spice note, and it is subtle, tastes much more woodsy than spicy. Not oak, it's more like a pecan shell and cinnamon bark flavor. It may sound strange but it works beautifully.

Radioactive definitely isn't as sweet as other Nicoticket flavors. It's an honest tobacco based eliquid, which was exactly the opposite of what I was expecting. I thought it would have more vanilla than H1N1 but I taste less (unless it's steeped for a long time). Comparisons are inherently unfair, but comparing it to H1N1, it's almost like the difference between wet and dry barbecue. H1N1 is sweet wet BBQ & Radioactive is dry, savory and smoky.

If you're looking for something to fully satisfy those moments when you're craving an analog, or you just want a break from sweet eliquids, this is the one. Radioactive satisfies in a way that no other Nicoticket flavor does. I finally understand why it has such a devoted following.

I vape this flavor constantly, but it isn't for everyone. It isn't a sweet dessert tobacco. It's a true tobacco with many more layers than you may expect, but it isn't great in every topper, at least for me. I don't like it with silica or in a dripper, although it shines in cotton wicked Evods, Protanks and RTAs.

Pretty pretty please take Radio through the cut, or if just not possible maybe one more batch so I can correct my error in not better preparing for this travesty and savor that fresh Radio perfection one more time. Please.

We have a plan, it may just take some time to come to fruition. At it stands right now, we nearly have enough SRs mixed to make it through to a "transition."

In Radio steeped 4 months I get a hint of grape ever so often. Probably would never have noticed until I tried Grap3Ap3 (but not mixed with Radio). Otherwise I agree with CorralineAlgae on the review. Sometimes I put a drop of Frenilla in it and sometimes I mix with Doodle. I prefer it plain because I get more of that relaxing earthiness to it that puts me in another place away from the daily rat race. Might try some other combinations to make it last longer.

I have two more bottles in transit from an un-named benefactor, so I should be able to hold off for a little while. :D

But, in the meantime I will collect sound clips of all three grand kids at their finest and dub in our pleas for more Radio' . . . .
. . . the little man will be three in October - need a new pic soon.
I dunno...I absolutely love this pic every time I see it.

After consulting my tasting notes....

Radioactive possesses an earthiness about it that inspires a long stroll down a wind swept driftwood beach along with hints of toasted marshmallow as well as a finish that is reminiscent of stepping into a well cured tobacco humidor.

With flavors that only improve over time, Radioactive is a liquid that must be exprienced in order to be truly appreciated.

The very first time I loaded Radio FOB it was into a freshly rebuilt PT Aero on top of one of my evics. After the very first pull it tasted to me just like the smell of mellow damp driftwood (which I love!) on the intake and tasted just like the aroma of a pipe tobacco humidor in a high end smoke shop on the exhuast. (which I also happen to love) After a some steeping time a beautiful hint of sweetness and the the toasted marshmallow emerged for me as well. There are other flavors in there that I find hard to decribe as well. This juice may not of hit for everyone but the more time I spent with it the more the love for it grew. I was sad to see that it may not be back and can honestly say that I will feel somewhat empty once I have vaped the final drop.

I'm really loving Radio. The smoky/nutty aspect with the vanilla has given me a nice break from the sweetness of the rest of my juices. It's sweet but not sweet at the same time. Sort of like how the popular trend of adding sea salt to desserts tames the sweet but doesn't neutralize it. And I do see how some can claim to taste a rootbeery-ness, I'm picking it up too. It's something very close to sassafrass. I've vaped about 9 ml's and now I'm going to force myself to either put this away for a couple of months or order another bottle so I can still vape it while this bottle steeps. Decisions decisions.

Order another bottle. I finally learned with Radio to order 3 bottles to start and another every month to always have a well-steeped bottle. But I vape more radio in a week than any other NT liquid :)

You have a good palate. When this first came out we all tried to determine where the spice notes came from - who would've thought about a sassafrass, vanilla, and tobacco juice could taste so good. Put what's left of the bottle away and put in another order. The flavors will balance out a bit more resulting in something even better. :D

Good strategy. I still have some of the beta version along with bottles from February, April, and . . . . .

Penguiness, with your rave reviews and this post really makes me hope that Radio hits for me in a few months. I have 120's of it, just waiting. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

If it does not hit for you in 3 months, I meant what I said. I will buy it from you for the price you paid for it.
