Hit the ALA where it hurts

I have been following this forum for some time. I am not one to make small talk so I have not gotten to post on any of the areas where I could do any good. HOWEVER:

I have had it with the American Lung Association.

I have put a FaceBook page together and I need your support to make it work. This is not just another bleeding heart begging page. I have documented the history of the e-cig and the ALAs work to prevent it from becoming legal. AND I have made specific requests of the ALA. The point of the page is to get enough members to get their attention. To do this I have requested folks to pledge to NOT donate to the ALA until they change their attitudes.

Please look at it and click on "like" at the top of the page. ( LIKE has replaced become a fan)

SmokeyJoe: I know this should be under Campaigning, but I don't have those rights and I know if you move I won't be able to comment, but the cause is more important. Please move it to Campaigning if you so desire.

Kristin: I used some of your material. It is fantastic. I wanted to use more but had to stay on topic. If you ever need anything from me, just ask. It's yours.

I also used some CASSA stuff and linked it back to them. You folks are doing wonders. Keep it up.

Joined, and for visitors the Join button still shows. The info you collected looks great. Facebook really needs more of these types of pages, if you can get people to quit farming long enough to look at it that is. lol

Could I make a suggestion though? You might consider changing the title, if the system will let you, to something like American Lung Association & the E-Cigarette or at least capitalize E-Cig and Info. It will make it stand out more in generalized searches I believe, and put the same weight on the e-cig as the ALA.

Btw, attached a logo I made if you would like to use it for the site.

Many of us who wrote to the Lung Association received a canned reponse, saying the ALA urges consumers not to use the products. I posted my reponse on my blog. If you got the same letter, you might want to Tweet or share this article to your Facebook page. Only if you like it, of course.
