Hiya all from a newbie! So excited to be here, and thrilled to have finally made the choice to vape! Been vaping for 7 days now, and I have gone from almost 2 packs a day of ciggs to less than 5 a day now!

I'm a typical knucklehead newbie and made my first choice Blu ecigs ... lesson learned in the first few days  ! Just ordered SmokeTip ... hoping it will be better ... but I can bet I will wind up with some sort of Vapor King. Love the VK site, and the products look hot!

So just wanted to say hi! Feel free to say hey!

Hi Lep! Welcome welcome. I got my husband to research before I bought a Joye510 and I really like it. The blu wasn't highly recommended by his cronies on a site he belongs to so. I like the manual batteries better than the auto, but whatever works for you is good! So glad you decided to join as these folks will do their best to help you. Again, welcome welcome :)

My wife has a smoketip kit here and it works just fine. It's a bit overpriced for the starter kit, but if they truly make good on the lifetime warranty on the batteries it may be worth the extra $20 in just a few months. It's like any other KR808D-1 (short battery), so it's compatible with a lot of the other vendors' stuff. We've got cartomizers from V4L, electronicstix, and Eastmall so far, they all work just fine on the smoketip batt.

The smoketip cartomizers are refillable, and the price isn't too bad. $20 for ten cartos is a little bit high, but figuring in the free shipping thing it works out to about the same as other places.

The only things I didn't care for about smoketip is the short batteries (have to recharge often) and that they're automatic batts only. Wifey now has my "old" (longer) KR8 batts since I've moved on to a Riva ;) She's fiddled with the Riva a bit and is sticking with the KR8 stuff for now though.

BTW, it only took 2 days for the smoketip to arrive in the mail, from PA to CA.

You were right-on Rudforce ... only took 2 days to get them! Produces so much more vapor than the ridiculous Blu brand, and it actually tastes like a cigarette. The Blu is already packed up and ready to ship back! Gonna try some flavor carts next time ... how do I know which ones from Vapor King will be compatible with the Smoke Tip????

Thanks for the help fellow vaper!

Glad it's working better for you! I was surprised how similar to a smoke the default cartos tasted. More accurate than anything else I've tried so far.

how do I know which ones from Vapor King will be compatible with the Smoke Tip????

From Vapor Kings, I have no personal experience. In theory anything under the KR808D-1 category should work.

From Vapor4Life.com, any/all of their cartomizers will fit the SmokeTip batteries. Prefilled, empty, premium or otherwise, they all will work. V4L only seems to sell KR808D-1 stuff, so all of their accessories will work with the smoketip stuff as well (pcc, extra batts, etc...)

LOL No big. V4L has a model called the Vapor King, and Vapor Kings has a model that says "This is not a Vapor King" (which always makes me think of "This is not a Fugazi t-shirt"). It's way to easy for everything to run together.

I'm the first to admit that I know little to nothing about most of this stuff. It's still all new to me. I can't even get the sig banner to make sense! When my wife wanted to buy a smoketip (cause one of her co-workers has an affiliate code) I dove into researching that model to make sure it'd last for a while. Just don't ask me any questions about 510 based stuff, my answer will simply consist of "uh, I has a Riva" ;)

Sorry Rud, I meant V4L (not Vapor King)! Hate looking like a noob, but the abundance of information is taking its toll I guess!

Taking baby steps, and trying not to get overwhelmed...people like yourself make it easier!

:headbang::wub:

Lep, we were all overwhelmed at first! One of the hardest things for me was calling a cigarette an analog. I've not smoked 851 analogs. What a Blessing! Baby steps is where you begin. We've all been there. No one is going to judge you here. BUT this site will help and encourage you in any way you need! :toast:

Hiya Lilly :) Welcome to the ECF...

Lots of useful information here and please ask questions if you need too.

This vaping business is definately a learning experience.

One tip....what you think you will love to vape, you might not....something you don't think will taste good, will. Try lots of different flavors until you find those precious few that you love.

Congrats on your success :) Keep up the good work !

Hugs,
Clumsy
