Hi! New here too. Joined a few days ago. Had a bad experience with eluma's and bought a SmokeTip which arrived on Monday, two days after I ordered it. Might have a funky battery though, not sure, should know for sure tomorrow. Will be trying to refill the cartomizers next. Really overwhelmed with all the info, types, options, etc. Really haven't used analogs much since I started vaping but I vape way more than the pack and 1/2 I used to smoke, if life of carts is any indicator.
The KR8 from smoketip or the carts aren't giving me the same throat hit that I got with the eluma is it the juice or the cart or something else, any idea? The nicotine level is even slightly higher with smoketip carts so not sure where to start to resolve that. Vapor is awesome with this thing though.
I tend to drop the thing a lot, what's up with that?

If you look at some of the different Pack per cart thingies they are actually somewhat inaccurate it seems... they say a cart is about a pack of cigs.. IMO a cart is about 6-8 cigs max. I think there are some posts in the ECF library about this.... i think. I was a 3 PAD smoker (and smoked 120s too) 2 months ago have been a non-smoker since I got my first PV and I'm proud to be a vaper
Hey Leppard Lilly, welcome and great job on getting where you are in just 7 days, I just smoked 1 pack a day and it has been really easy for me, I haven't had 1 analog since the day I got my e cig. Keep up the good work.
Welcome to ecf dont feel bad I ordered a free kit at 1st before finding this site luckly I was able to return it with it costing me anything but shipping so I only lost $10 better then the rip off they where going to do.
Hiya and welcome fellow newbie! My SmokeTip arrived in 2 days also, their shipping is great with everything, as well as their customer service. If you have any probs, give them a call...they're awesome. I started with Blucigs, which was a total nightmare...hated them. Barely any vapor (if any), had to recharge constantly, and NO throat hit whatsoever! I returned them as soon as I tried the SmokeTip. Luving them ... great vapor, stays charged all day, nice throat hit, and my carts last for days. I get the Marlboro carts, but have also tried and liked some of the others. I never tried the Eluma, so I cannot offer you any answers about the comparable throat hit. And you will get used to the heavier, larger ecig in the SmokeTip...I dropped it once myself.
Don't get too overwhelmed ... any information and support you need can be found in this forum. Everyone's super friendly and extremely helpful!

Thanks for the welcome. I do seem to be having trouble with either the batteries or the charger for the K8's but you're right, I just got off the phone with SmokeTip and they're sending me new ones and I jut have to send back what I don't like after they arrive. That's spectacular customer service, the exact polar opposite of Eluma (still raging at them).
Really glad to have found this board, I read the entire 6 part introduction and so impressed with someone taking the time to write that and break it all down. Unfortunately, my addled brain can't absorb that much information all at once. Kudos and thanks to DonDaBoomVape for doing it though, I know where to look for most answers now.
