Hmm, odd passthrough action

Ok so I plug in the passthrough, it works on standard atty's fine.

I screw on a carto and when I depress or release the button the LED barely flickers on and immediately off. If I hold the button, flicker then out. When I finally release it, the same. Flicker again and then out. When the carto is OFF the passthrough works normally with nothing attached; glows bright green when the buttons depressed, goes out when it's released.

I screw a carto back in, as soon as it makes contact the LED no longer lights up when it's depressed. if I hold the button down and unscrew the carto there's no light until the carto breaks contact with the passthrough then bam, green LED again as soon as the carto breaks contact.

Some issue with it not working with carto's that we're aware of already and I missed?

The only thing I can think of is if it's an LR carto and is trying to draw too much power.

I've tried it with an LR atty and didn't have any problems though, so I dunno.

Does it work on a battery?
Have you tried more than one cartomizer and do they all act the same?

It could be that the cartomizer is shorted inside and that's messing up the circuit.
It could also be that the cartomizer isn't making a solid connection to the passthru for some reason and not passing full voltage through the circuit.

Yeah, it ended up being the USB port. It works on other computers just not mine, apparently that usb port isn't putting through enough voltage.
