hey have any of you modders thought about making bigger cartomizers out of F-connectors. if you don't know what an f-connector is its a cable connector that you put on coax. it has an outer shield and an inner shunt, exactly like cartomizers have, only bigger. im at work so im not able to take pictures. but just a thought that popped into my head and had to throw it out for some of you modders to think about.

poland, and the brassy lands of google
I'd say as a connector its bigger and more complicated than RCA, so not really useful as a ecig connector, and as for making a carto, there isn't really a body/tube to it so I don't know...

1/4" audio plugs though have a casing that will hold a 10440 and then some, and they unscrew, but are typically thick and heavy metal. Perhaps a gold one is better quality?? Still, I'm not so sure it would make a good carto.

my first mod for a 510 was with a slide on f connector. I was waiting for my 510 connectors from mad vapes. I thought it would be easier to change atties. just pull one out and push one in.

]It will work. the biggest problem was making the ground connection. my addies were coated, so I had to scrape off the coating to make a good connection and it had to be tight enough. the next problem was the positive connection of the wire on the f connection. I solder a small washer and used a small spring on the wire. At best it was a hit or miss with this set up.

Once I got my 510 connectors i never looked at the f connector again.

ahh i cant upload pics from my phone to here so ill have to do it later. throwing a couple ideas around in my mind, most of them involve plugging the center hole though, so i don't know how well it would work. unless you don't mount the connector underneath the liquid, perhaps on the side (kinda like an airbrush gun looks)
