I had been a smoker for years. I gave cigarettes up on Nov 28, 2012, the day my E-Cig starter kit arrived in the mail. I love to Vape... I especially enjoy being able to vape at work. Back when I started, there was a common belief that vaping was safe, at least that was what I had heard and read. Is it? I can't imagine that inhaling vaporized propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin is good for my lungs... Don't get me wrong, I am vaping with the understanding that the behavior can or could be VERY hazardous to my health. Ultimately, there simply is no research as of yet to determine the impact of vaping on health. Let's not continue to fool ourselves.

I look at it this way:
VG and PG are both known to be safe for human consumption
Our lungs handle foreign debris daily and are built for that
I noticed a large increase in energy and lung function shortly after making the switch
Even if it is somewhat harmful and I am sure it is to some degree, it can't possibly be worse or even close to the damage caused by analogs.
If it does kill you, at least you don't smell like smoke doing it!

Firm believer this is better for us and the environment overall. Just think of how many cig butts we haven't chucked on the ground since switching.....

VAPE ON!!!

Well what brought this epiphany on? Where you experiencing a health issue? All I can tell you is that cigarettes we all know are killing people. I'm willing to go the route of at least 4000 less chemicals. I diy my juice so I know exactly whats going in them. If you think cigs are safer you shouldn't vape. BTW congrats on your first post :vapor:

If you compare vapor to cigarette smoke there obviously is no comparison. It doesn't take a medical study to tell me this is safer. I can physically feel that.

Now, if the OP was stating it is not safe as a stand alone product I partially agree. No study out there can predict long term effects. I can live with that because it's vapor or smoke for me. So I choose vapor.

That would be dependent on the definition of safe.
If you would say that driving is safe, then vaping is safe.
If you would say that eating is safe, then vaping is safe.

As an alternative to smoking I'm sure you would agree it is most preferable.
If your equipment burns the glycerin however, I do believe you will get toxic fumes in the vapor; then there's the question of plastics, and the issue of flavorings.

Well so far the hard core results are not in....
But this Dr. has gone above and beyond to test the APV and the juice,,,,,,
so far it is 100% healthier than "burning tobacco" .
This Dr. appears to have devoted a lot of free time to the cause.:toast:
