I carry 4 manual batteries with me at all times. I don't have a PCC (which I need), so I need as many bats as possible just in case. There's been times where I thought a new battery I put on was fully charged, only to have it die 3 puffs later. Then I freak out because I already used up two of my four batteries, and now I have to rely on the last one for another 4 hours until I can get the other 3 on a charger.

In other words. ALWAYS be overly prepared!

a few manuals is definitely a must, especially in nosy environments.
couple extra chargers might help as well, some models tend to lose "middle" contact after some time of usage (besides been dirty).

Yaaaaay! my new batteries arrived, long ones too
bought 10 analogs this morning for work, I've happily just thrown the 6 I had left on the fire and smiled.

Are the ones you're talking about the extended life ones that Cignot carries?

Thank you for the link I'll get some ordered next friday, I've just ordered 2 auto batteries, should be here Monday at least..

As you probably know by now, it wasnt your batteries being bad... it was because theyre automatic. Thats another reason people prefer manuals.
