That would indeed be pricey for 5 people. I spent $90/week on analogs just for myself.

My paranoia vs. prepping statement was in reference to myself, btw. I do very little in moderation.

I totally agree with this being an interesting hobby. I love learning, and being a n00b I'm learning volumes.

Hang in there, it gets easier every day. My only fear is any FDA regulation. I haven't had any urges to return to smoking since getting my original Spinner in early December. Can't even stand to be around cigarettes any more.............

Yep. Definitely become a hobby for me as well. If I could afford a new mod or atty every week, I'd certainly get one. My pace is a little slower as I have a low income. But last week I got my first rba. Next step is going to be getting a DIY juice kit. Unfortunately the initial investments are almost always pretty high, but it doesn't take long at all for the return to kick in.

I admit I rationalize against the cost of cigarettes, but if I didn't vape, I would smoke. Since my personal cost was at least $200/month and my wife's at least $150. Ridiculous! No brainer.

I don't expect to make any major purchases in the near future, unless something special comes on the market. I am getting the Pro Tank, just because I like T3's on my Vamo.

The nice thing about vaping as a hobby is that it has so many diverse aspects that there's something for just about everyone to go all crazy and obsessive over.

:)

Clever do-it-yourselfers can amuse themselves for hours trying to build the vaping world's most perfect coil, or inventing fascinating new configurations never seen before. Gadget fiends can amass row upon row of beautiful shiny objects in every imaginable shape. Crafty people can decorate tanks and batteries to look like something from Rodeo Drive, and create a new look every week if they like. Connoisseurs of wine and food can always find exciting new juices to try, or become mixologists themselves. And then there are reviews to write and videos to make . . .

What's not to like?
