Like many others I'm sure, I started vaping because I wanted to quit smoking. Unfortunately, I started smoking in middle school and it stuck with me off and on for years. I finally decided to start vaping because I'm too dang young to be coughing, hacking, and losing my breath every time I try to do something physical.
However, what I didn't know at the time was that vaping is such a fantastic hobby! After I got sick of my Blu, I researched and researched and got an 808 ego kit. After I decided I wanted an even better vape than my beloved ego, I researched again and got my first VAMO and a protank. After that, things changed.
Suddenly I'm lurking the ECF forums, reading reviews, watching videos, doing everything I can to figure out how the hell I can get a better vape. "Chasin' that perfect vape" as a friend of mine always used to put it. Next thing I know, I've got an AGA-T2 and I'm wrapping coils, rebuilding heads, blah blah blah, ect, ect...
Basically, after I got my hands on a real big boy mod, it instantly became something I loved to do. Trying juices, building coils, and experimenting with everything I got my hands on became one of the most enjoyable things I did with my time. Thus, a hobbyist was born.
So more to the point: Are you a hobbyist? What do you like about it? How did you become that way? Are we crazy?
