Yup, you can use reg 18650's for 3.7v, the 4.8v battery, or stack two cr123 3v batts for 6v

Woops!!! I've missed this before! what batts do I need for 4.8? What spacer? I tried six volts with the cr123's and it was too much but 4.8 sounds fantastic!

Mike included a "cheesy" magnet taped to the inside of my hog -- didn't you get one? I love the "cheesy" magnet!

Would I need to have that magnet if I was using the cr123's? If so, where does the magnet go..in between the two batteries? I've never used those batteries before and probably won't...but just in case I ever do, I'd like to know how to insert them properly so I don't damage my hog mod...who I've named "Coco" by the way ;)

I did just order some HV atties .. someone suggested I should try 6v with a HV atty so we'll see if that's better! 6v was too hot for me using a 3.0 atty.

You'll have to let us know how that works for ya...I'd be interested in knowing for sure. Maybe it wouldn't be quite as harsh using the proper atties ;)

+1 from me Cleo I'm planning on trying the HV atty before I get rid of the batts let me know how it works out for you.
