Oh, I know your the captain of Mike's cheerleading squad! I have been watching closely, waiting for the chance to get a vv hog. I should have my first one Monday, and a second when this newest batch is completed. Then I may even give you my impersonation of Ned Beatty from the movie Deliverance....

Oh hell. I forgot! I should have just went and picked it up since RIMP is only 40-50 miles away from me... Oh well, I have waited this long...whats one more day...

Oh, I already have a piece of special wood in my possession for my next one. (I buy bunches of exotic woods for "special order" mods)

Hey mike,

Have you used the vera wood in your mods before? Love to see it in it's finished state.

I haven't used it before, I was told it will need to sit for a bit after final sanding to get the green color back. But unlike Purpleheart where you can stick it out in the sun for a little bit to turn purple, there is no speed up process for the color change. it might take a couple of weeks I was told

Will the green still come back after you've applied the finish over it Mike? (if it hasn't 'turned' after the sanding that is)

Oooo and Zircote, I have decided I am making my VV from that I think, hrmm untill I see something else I like. That's why I still just have my beat up one. Oh and now one of Lenny's, haven't got to that SP mod yet

I see alot of nice wood Id pick up on Ebay but a lot of it is 1/2" thick and I need it to be 3/4"
