They're all sooo gorgeous! I love that Cocobolo for the caps and inlays.
Yep I'm liking it as well

My REOs. All the hype about these things and all the talk about how badly people want them and everybody keeps bailing on trade deals. Screw it, maybe I'll take them to VaperCon for trading stock there
You know if I was trying to trade Hogs NOBODY would back out!
That black walnut has some niiiice figure!
My kitchen floor would look good with a Mop too .. are you volunteering?

Hog mods just keep getting fancier and fancier, my goodness!
Ok, I'd like mine made from the keel of the Ark with endcaps from the Trojan horse (no condom jokes), 24k gold inlay, catch cup and button housing of sterling silver and the button itself an Austrailian opal. Ya wanna just whip that up, Mike? I'll mail you a check![]()
Hey if you can track all that down and send it to me, I'll do my best![]()
Well Mike, we're getting closer to the weekendSome people dream of games, races, beers, and relaxing in the 'ol Lazy Boy. The rest of us start getting all jittery with anticipation; wondering what the next work of art will look like. Then there's all of those compulsive Hog questions that start racing through our heads...
Will he put up general sales this weekend? Has he already started on my mod? Do I sell one of my mods to help pay for the next Hog? What happens if someone else chose a better wood combo than I did? Do I get a standard 3.7v, VV, or non bottom feed Hog?
It's gonna be a looong weekend...
And Trouble was nestled all snug in her bed
While visions of Hog mods danced in her head
You forgot to add, "And did he figure out how to engineer the Piglet yet?"
Well as most of you know I am swapped at work and sometimes leave at 6am and dont get home till 11pm on some nights, so most of my mod time is on the weekends.
So far I have managed to rough cut all the wood I got last weekend and get all the caps and inlays all cut up. Saturday I am going to work on milling out all the blocks and getting the boxes glued up so they can stay clamped Sunday. Then I can work on the sanding and finishing after work next week.
I will try to get picks of the glued up boxes this weekend.
I was thinking it was going to be the middle of next month before this batch would be ready. Sounds more like a couple of weeks.
I have contacted 2 ivory suppliers and am just waiting on some price quotes.Of course I did. I'm going to take a standard, put it in a vise, and crank that baby till it gets smooshed down smaller. I think it'll work!
