I haven't decided if its what I really want yet, but we'll see how it goes. While it would be nice to have a few nickles to rub together in my pocket, the only reason a agreed to is because I was asked by the membership to take it. I think they just want someone in there that will stand by them and have their backs instead of putting your personal interests in front of theirs.

Makes complete sense. They want someone they know can get the job done, and WILL... :2cool:

2mtech - Love the new avatar, sorry, had to steal it for my collection.

Mike (Hogfather) Good luck tomorrow!!

Amy - Feel better hon! *hugs*

I missed the drunk fest, damn. I was drugged out/passed out from pain meds and that isn't nearly as fun as it should be, considering the dosages of morphine I took.

All this talk of cutting fingers off reminds me of my "why I don't eat spaghetti" story ...

I was 7 and my sister was 9, she went down in the basement to do some laundry and we had one of those old washers that didn't stop spinning when you lifted the lid. The dumb blonde that she is, reached in the spinning load of rugs and got some of the end tassels wrapped around her middle finger on her right hand. We, up in the kitchen making dinner, heard blood curdling screams from the basement and my mom ran down to see what happened. She carried my sis up and stuck her hand in the sink and turned on the cold water, yelling at us to get her purse and car keys. Off she rushed to hospital with my sis, and our nanny said "ok, excitement is over, let's have dinner" and went to pour the spaghetti (which had been draining in the sink) into a dish. My sisters finger plopped into the dish with the spaghetti and the nanny just plucked it out, and started to serve the spaghetti ! Without even rinsing it off!! I will never eat spaghetti again!

hey guys, im sure someones got a link or something, but wondering what battery configurations work with the hog, and if anyone has used the COV hybrid attys with the hog, or if there are any other reccomendations. im used to using darwin, around 8.4 volts, so if i use my 4.5ohm at 6v itll be around the same and i think 1.5 ohm for 3.7v will be around the same too

I use the COV hybrid atties ... 1.5 bottom feeder on most juices and 2.0 bottom feeder on my fruity juices, they ROCK on the Hog, I don't think I'll ever be able to use anything else. They are expensive, 8.99 ea .. but I was lucky enough to pick up a few when they were on sale for $5 ea. I'll just wait for another sale and stock up!!! Plus you can use coupon code bigbuyer for 10% off all the time.

Ok so I gotta ask, I am having issues with my hog. I have semi fresh bats and brought it with me, I just tried vaping and it seems as if something isn't making good contact. It hits and stops hits and stops. Could this be the batteries going dead or atty? Is it something else possibly? Never ran across this and until I get home tonight I can't change out batteries. I have made sure atty has good connection, batteries are in good, it acts like my button isn't working all the time??????? I'm lost here any suggestions?

I knew you'd appreciate the avi :) You're a twisted, sardonic lexiphile, after my own heart ;)

And hey, you should be glad you were having spaghetti instead of German weisswurst (white sausage)...you may not have known which one the finger was until...well, you know...

so what are the battery options? i know 18650s work for them right? cov has 2200mah, 2600mah, and 2900 mah aw ic ones, obviously i would think going at the 2900 mah, but would there be a reason not to?

I use the AW IMR 18650s in my standard Hog. I have several different brands/types of that battery spec and nothing works or lasts better than the AW IMR. I have a couple of the AW IC high mAH, and they just don't last as long as the high drain variety. I thought it was me for awhile when it seemed like the IMR batts hit better/warmer than protected ones, but I've since read that the IMRs have a more efficient current handling capability. I won't spend money on anything else now. The 18350s for my VV are also AW IMR. Just the best way to go for me.
