I has a sad. #13 is sitting here awaiting surgery. Been having intermittent firing problems for about a week--finally narrowed it down to the switch. Coincidentally I have some button switches coming in today, so I went ahead and taked her all apart--performed a switchectomy in preparation for a switch transplant this afternoon...

But the switches I have coming in are steel, so the carpet will no longer match the drapes :(

Man, I just love you! Bwahahahaha!!!

Fate doesn't. It was the 3/4 inch switches that got here today, so the 12mm (the fit the Hogs) won't be in for another couple weeks.

So should I just leave her lying on the operating table, sad and alone; or put her back together and deal with her being petulant and moody--like my ex-wife?

:(

Dang, I thought I'd gotten past having to deal with all that...

When you leave them sad and alone for awhile and they realize their histrionics are no longer having the desired effect of garnering your attention and sympathy, they usually start working properly on their own.

Talking about mods, of course :)

Well, I've got her all back together and she's working like new. Evidently all I had to do was lay her down and play with her button until she fell apart--without expecting anything in return.

That never worked with the ex...

LMAO!!!

Pwyll - how could that not work with the ex????

And B - thank you for my new vet thread!

Undiagnosed bipolar (it ran in her family) during early-onset menopause (it also ran in her family, her first symptoms hit when she was around 28) seemed to compound the fact that she turned out to be :censored: crazy. I do not say this lightly--I was madly in love with her at one time, and frankly if she hadn't left we'd still be together.

Ah well...getting into TMI territory :)

This is where the psychiatrist says "And how did that make you feel?" ;)

Mickey Mouse was filing for divorce.

His attorney said "So Mr Mouse, I see you're petitioning for divorce on grounds of insanity?"

Mickey says, "No...adultery".

"It says here you're requesting divorce because your wife is crazy".

"No, no...I said she was :censored: goofy!"

Sorry...we now return you to your regularly scheduled Hog chat...
