Hog...

How much of a discount would you give if I can provide you with enough 100+ year old antique barnwood to make 5 of these badboys?

Also I must apologize to the buyers or the 3 mods. I rushed home after work today to grab the mods and get to the post office to get them shipped out. Well I failed... I missed it by 12 minutes.
So I went over to this little shipping store across the street and that place wanted 16 bucks and change to ship each one out. I'm sorry I just couldn't pay that much for shipping, so I will be taking the mods with me to work tomorrow and try to get them shipped out at the post office down the street on my lunch break.
I hope you understand.

Down the rabbit hole..
Yes I plan on trying to get some more 3.7v feeders done this week and work on some VV models. Going to try to get a few vv components ordered up tonight. Just have to bear with me for a a little bit, started out with zero funds to actually get started here. But we'll get rolling soon I think after more Hog Mods end up in more peoples hands and word gets spread around.

Sweet!....I'll definitely be buying your vv's...not rushing you.. I understand the funds thing..lol...:)

To tell you the truth, with the wood I'm using, the price of the wood is really not significant which is why I can offer these mods at these prices. Right now my cost is based off of the labor involved to create one of these mods and the components inside. And trust me, at these prices I wont be getting rich off of these.
Heck I think I have already upset at least one of the bigger wood mod suppliers with my prices. I guess I'm pushing the price of their labors to an all time low. Really wasn't my intent to cause any ripples.

So supplying your own wood would not really change the price of the finished mod really.
Its when I get into the higher priced exotic woods that will affect the cost of the mod pushing the price up higher. Some of those exotics cost a small fortune.

Antique Barn wood is easily as much as $20/board foot. Was hoping if i could get my own wood, I could get one custom made. I'll try to find some barn wood that would is thicker when I am in Michigan (where my family has several 100+ year old barns) and see about sending you the wood to make one for me, so I can have an original work of art that would make everyone envious, (and include enough extra wood for you to make one for yourself from this beautiful wood as well as long as you agree to not sell any other mods with the wood I would provide for free to you)

As far as the other suppliers. Competition is the basis of our economy, You fill a niche. While yours don;t have a VV option, or offer the exact same options, your mod is unique. There are several people on these forums that would happily buy from multiple vendors just to have multiple unique pieces.

I just started vaping (for the 2nd time) and have already invested more than I have saved on tobacco to date, so I suspect my first mod will me one of the $30 plastic juice boxes (you are currently my 2nd choice). I don;t want to spend $80 or even more on my first juice box. I don't know that my personal preference is to a Juice Box or the eGo that I have been greatly enjoying (far more than the 510 I had a year ago when i first quit)

we have dozens of suppliers to choose from for batteries, juice, atomizers, and so on. You are offering a hand crafted work of art that no one else offers, so Keep it up! If they can't handle the competition, then so be it.

I can't put mine down Mike. I love this mod. I've had so many mods and it's been a fun and (at times) frustrating journey...but I'm done looking. Don't stop making them! I see at least 2 more in my future...and if you make a mini 14500 size, I'll take two of those too :D

Yes I was thinking of a minni around the size off an aa box that uses 14500 also.

I want that for taking out on errands and such. At home, it's Hog #2 all day. I've been vaping for over a year and a half now...this is the very FIRST hassle free experiece I've had with it. Like, literally: fill bottle, put in battery, push bottle, vape...repeat push and vape all day and all night. No fuss, no mess, no frustration. Win.

Ordering up parts as we speak.
I have a 4 day week end this week so I'll be working on getting a batch together.
I also ordered up some VV components so I'll be working on that as well. Going to start off with an dual 18350 battery VV first I think. Should keep the the mod the same at 1" thick and 2" wide but it will grow in height to 4 1/8" tall. Will still take a 6ml bottle and last quite awhile while still staying at a decent size I think.
