Why thank you doots! I am very pleased with the looks and quality of this mod. We are getting along quite well so far. I have to say I was quite surprised at the size, it is much smaller than the woodvil, and only about 1/4" wider than a grand. Very cool as I find the woodvil a bit big for me. To the classies it goes (the woodvil NOT the hog's mod!)

Yes I like that the size is more like the Grande too.. cant wait to get one..

Is there a date and time that they are put up?

Nope, when they're ready, he puts them up.

Nice photos!
You know, I had a REO Mini for a minute, I just didn't do well with the metal box (so that eliminated the Grand option) and the single 14500 battery life, though it worked great. I considered a Woodvil for a long time, but the price, ouch, and it looked huge to me. Mike has got a nice compact package (excellent use of space in these mods), very nice to look at and comfy to hold and all at an incredible price. I'm really glad I found these mods, the one I have has certainly been a game changer for me. Long live Hog Mods!

You are sooo right about the size! Plus, the button placement is just right. I have small hands and trying to wrap it around an entire Woodvil is difficult.

The Hog Mod has the button just in the perfect spot:) Plus, it's not uncomfortable to use either the left or right hand with it.

edit: The Hog Mod will be centered in my avi once I get the time to take some quality pics:)

I have to find a better way to round the edges to. My crappy router is claiming one out of three boxes for its own when I try to round the corners.

Also trying to work on the vv but im definately not a very savy at schematics. The chip im going to use does not shut its self off when batts get to low. So its either rely on protected batts which I dont like becauae a lot of people use IMR batts, or wire in a low current trip to the board.
So after a gazillion hours reading the forums over and over I think I have something sketched up that I can make heads or tails of. Gonna play with it on a bread board and see.

They say that every time we learn something new we get a new wrinkle formed on the brain.

Something tells me that yours is anything but smooth at this point:)

I am so glad that all I need to do is wait for you to get all wrinkly!

Very cool, isn't it? I had smoked for 35+, and quit in two days. I'm still shocked at myself. The upside is that I can smell again, it is also the downside! LOL!
