Tx - What resistance atty/carto were you vaping @ 6v?

You go right ahead and put a chrome cup on the fir; I asked for walnut caps I was just saying that if you DID use a black switch I'd want a black cup

Oooo got 9 sets of caps after I cut the rough boxes out of the canary board, might be able to get some inlays out of the trimmings.

So those of you requesting Canary and Purple Heart, is this to much teasing?

Tried a lr dual coil cartomiser = way too hot
SR Atty better but a little too hot then fried the atty!
I've heard of High Voltage attys would that help?

As I understand it, and anyone correct me if this is misquoted, but there's a general rule of half for resistance. Meaning, if you're vaping 6v, you can go down to 3 ohms. 5v, down to 2.3 to 2.5 ohms, 3.7v, down to 1.8 ohms...you get the idea. This is obviously not an exact science since you can go lower without detonating. At 6 volts I use higher res attys @ 3.4 ohms. Any less and it's like sucking on a flamethrower, as you've found. When you hit the button and feel hot air blowing into your mouth, it's just not pleasant!

Here's a link to a good thread to determine what ohm atty to use.
Its all bases off watts since thats what it all boils down to anyways. Lower ohm atty on a set voltage equals higher watt output, higher ohm atty on same voltage equals lower wat output.
This chart doesnt list attys under 2ohms but its stil verry useful. I myself prefer to vape around 8 watts depending on the juice, so I use 1.5ohm LR attys on my 3.7 and I think that gets me close.

I was at Dairy Queen with my beautiful wife and daughter and the "other baby in my life", the one I babysit for who is just 4 months younger than Livi, and her Mommy. When we were done there, I went out in the parking lot to have a vape with Hog #10. All was well. So, my other baby decides that instead of getting up into her car seat she will run to me and give me one last hug before they go (awwww). I scooped her up and she gave me her version of a bear hug and then just DROPPED her upper body like she was going to jump right down, so I kinda had to throw the Hog to the ground and catch her. It was not pretty. But don't you know, I held that spring to the bottom of the batt and vaped that Hog all the way home! I got her fixed up, can't tell it happened.

K. Small Child vs Hog, you can let the small child win. Just remember, sometime between 6 and 9 they will have "should know better" and the Hog starts winning.

OMG Mike....the canarywood/purpleheart is drop dead gorgeous I can't wait...oh, speaking of waiting...my Hog #27 wasn't at the post office when I went today *deep sigh* I even raced over there when they were open for their whole ONE hour on Saturdays, just in case I needed to go in to get the package *another deep sigh* Oh well...something to look forward to on my miserable "I hate Monday"
