Well, when I put that pic together today it kinda sold me. That's a fresh looking combo right there.
Yes, it is B....IF it turns out like that. I'd be wanting to see just HOW GREEN that wood comes back to once it's sat after sanding tho.
Boy, I sure found some AWESOME wood today that has black and green in it. Only down side was its not completely dry... BUT I did think to myself that Bianca would kill for a vv hog made outta this stuff!

Oh, I've seen wood that is to die for too Mike....but...it was GREEN GREEN (the wet green)...and once dried, was not going to look remotely like it originally did.

Looks pretty sweet... Malaysian Blackwood is the variety..
It just amazes me at all the different (and beautiful) kinds of wood that's out there...something I never gave any thought to before getting into wood mods....
The other hobies in my life; gun collecting, guitars, and pool cues are what really opened my eyes up to some of the really beautiful woods that mothernature has to offer.
The other Mikes wood is greener....
