Im going to have to do a test finish with that Arm-R-Seal frinish on that Vera Wood to see if it cures.
That finish has a hard time setting up on wood like Cocobolo due to the oils and that Vera Wood is the waxiest wood I have seen so far. Smells good though =)
Might have to go with a Teak Oil finish instead.

yeah thats Redheart, that one might be my new 3.7v to show off. I cant decide on that piece or the Bocote in the pic.
I keep going back to that Redheart

Yea...that Bocote looks mighty sweet too! I could see that one with ebony endcaps/inlay I swear, I don't know how you DON'T keep a few for yourself!

That redheart in the pic of all the ones your working on looked like it had a lot of pink in it. Is there sections of that redheart you got that has more reds rather than pinks to it? I'm lookin' more for REDS and the blacks rather than pinks. I know I'm putting the cart before the horse, LOL...just trying to get a better idea of what I'm going to want I guess...(pre-pre ordering ya could say)

The board I got had a lot of pinks and reds in it. I'll try to find a board with more reds in it next time I go shopping.
I had a lot of cool woods I had to put back when I went down there, it added up pretty quick and I went way over what I had available to spend as it was.

Ok ok, as always... Never seen to get as much done as I had hoped but got the bulk of the bodies done, so now its just slapping in some inlays, putting on some caps, rounding them out.
Oh, then there's the drilling the holes, then the 5 coats of finish, assembling atty connectors, etc.
And sorry B, yours aren't on there. They are odd balls. They will have to get a little more one on one time Thurs, got that delegate meeting tomorrow night.

We have those black squirrels here...fox squirrels...those suckers are HUGE! Tripped me out first time I saw one, they're about the size of a small cat. Sure looked tasty though
