Oh, I didn't mean that it wasn't beautiful, just that it was made of random "parts" like Frankenstein's monster.
I didn't take offense at all! This one is Mike's creation for me. Black palmwood top cap, zebra wood bottom cap, black walnut side w/ yellowheart inlay, satine side with purpleheart inlay on the other side. It was to be a collage of beautiful exotic woods, totally unique and funky, kinda like me, and I allowed the Hogfather free reign to design it for me. I am looking forward to seeing all polished up with all of the different colors and textures showing through.

I can't wait to see the other side either. Right now, it looks a bit bland, but those woods are gonna pop when it's finished. I've got goosebumps.

Of course I'm a "one of", just like everyone else. I tend to "pave my own road". I'm sort of a well grounded modern day conservative traditional hippie, a faithful wife and family person, a loyal friend, big time crafter, creative sort. I like stuff that no one else has. That's why I sew, crochet, make my own home decor, cook, and have a business designing jewelry. As I get older, I don't really give a "whoopie" what anyone else thinks, except my mom. I am usually wearing a fedora with a big gaudy pin on the side and a scarf, and I don't care that my hair has gray streaks. My kids and grandkids think I'm cool, and I love that! Don't forget, I grew up in the 70's!
