LOL...I know the feeling bout staying 'calm' and being 'patient' snails. Maybe you could score one in the general sale to tide ya over? I know when I was waiting on my first pre-ordered one, it was a little bit easier because I had scooped one up in one of Mike's previous general sales.
I just need to focus and stay calm and patiently wait for a chance to put a great order in. ( sitting in a yoga pose, biting my nails) LOL

Your right, I will try for one of the general ones. It will help to ease the pain

8 is a good number! I am getting butterflies thinking about it.
I have 8 VV's for general sale but those won't go up till I get the requested ones out. I don't like doing the 3.7v general sales before the requested ones were done but I didn't have a choice since I need to buy the regulators.

He definitely has some sweet combos coming up too:) I wish I had half of his talent.

"Front 3 on the right are tung oil finish, Arm-R-Seal wont set up on them.
The completed redheart/ebony will be available as well. (also tung oil finish)
The front 2 are requested and the back left is not for sale. But the rest will be general sales as well as 4 others not pictured."

Just my 2 cents but why not post all of the general sale mods at the same time..VV's and 3.7.
That will get more $$ towards the things you need for requested orders.
I for one would not mind you doing this..but It's your call.

Because he needs the money from the 3.7 sale to get the VV chips

Thats why I said to post ALL general sales..from VV to 3.7 he has VV's for general sale but is waiting to be fair to the VV preorders..if he put all of the general sales up he would have more $$ for things he needed for preorders..

yeah I really don't want to sell anything that isn't already done. I really want the general sale ones to be finished and working then people can just choose their switch and led option.
Even with the requested mods I wont take anyone's money until its finished and tested.
I know a lot of people have offered to pay in advance since I'm short on funds right now, I really appreciate the offers, but I really don't want to start doing that. I want people to be able to see their completed Mod before that dish out a dime for it.

Just bringing forward by request

Please all keep in mind I build these mods as a hobby, It is not my full time job. I apoligize is the wait for a mod is longer than expexted but I believe it will be worth the wait once your Hog is in your hands.

Here's the rough requesting process...
Once a batch is sold I will open up requests for mods, when I have 10-15 requests requests will be closed untill that batch is finished. When a request is made you will be able to choose...

1. Type of wood for body
2. Type of wood for caps and inlay
3. Black Switch or Stainless Steel Switch(add $5)
4. 3.7v using 18650 batt and 6ml bottle $110, VV using 18350 batts and 6ml bottle $160, 3.7v non-feeder $90, or VV non-feeder $140
5. Gloss or Matte Arm-R-Seal finish (best protection), Tung Oil finish, Danish Oil finish, Boiled Linseed Oil finish, or Teak Oil finish
6. Choice of LED bottle illumination. Choices are White, Blue, Red, Purple, Green, Yellow, and No LED

Shipping $5

The voltage regulator that in used in the the VV's can be found here 3A Adjustable step down switching voltage regulator

Your Hog will come with 2 bottle assemblies, extra bottle assemblies are available at $2 each.

When a request for a mod is made It will go into a journal of mods to make in what order and I will do my best to get it made in a timely fashion. Understand that I build these after work and a little on the weekend and "Timely" might mean it might take a few weeks.

When the requested Mod is finished I will contact the person that has requested the Mod and they will have 3 days to Pay for the mod so that it can be shipped. If payment is not made within those 3 days the Mod will be offered up to first come, first serve on the forum.

I will try to keep the mods coming out in order of of requests but please understand that if I have wood on hand to finish someones mod request that was placed after yours but I'm still waiting on your wood to ship, theirs will most likely be done first.

I will post a list of wood I currently have access to locally before I start taking requests. If the wood you desire is difficult to obtain or quite a bit more costly than the exotics I have available locally, the cost of your mod might slightly increase in price or require a deposit to obtain your wood. This will be discussed with you after your request has been made and I can locate your desired wood.

If you wish to request a mod made from Staburl, I will do my best to accomodate you. Since the color variation from block to block varies so greatly and some blocks come with voids that can not be worked around, I will not be purchasing the Staburl myself. If you wish to have your Hog made from Staburl you will have to purchase the blocks yourself and have them shipped to me. But please be aware that I can not garantee that your blocks will be usuable or that your blocks are exactly the color you were expecting once finished. And also be aware that I am very careful when using Staburl but at times it does like to chip out, accidents happen no matter how careful I am. I will not be held liable if your block does not make it through the tooling process. Regular Pricing applies.

The Hog mod is really a beautifully made wooden mod in its simplest form. There are no extra frills in a Hog that adds to the bulk of the mod which make a Hog one of the smallest Wooden Mods on the market today not to mention one of the least expensive. There is no Master on/off switch. if you wish to throw your Hog into your purse or pocket, I recommend unscrewing the atty a turn or popping the battery out.

I'm not sure how many Bottom feeder vendors will tell you something like this but I will, THE HOG MOD DOES NOT LEAK, PERIOD

Here is where I would post some tips and tricks for you about how to use the Hog and remedy any issue you might have.
If and when an issue ever come up with a Hog I'll fill this spot in. =)

Ok Ok there is one tip from BiancaMontgomery on the easiest method for filling you bottle in the Hog.

G'morning Hogfather! Got a ? for ya. Are you going to try out the polyurethane on those 3.7's that were giving you the problems with drying times/absorption (and/or the VV's) or keep them with the tung oil finish?

I dont know why I was saying Tung Oil, the three that were giving me issues have been done in Watco Teak oil.
I'm going to pick up some rub on Poly later for future mods.
I like the General Finishes Arm-R-Seal the best, just not sure why it wont cure on the more oily/waxy woods like Cocobolo, Bocote, Vera wood, and such.
