Lol yea I usually enjoy the snow. I've drove through some bad stuff but that was the worst. But in about two years ill be moving to Charlotte North Carolina. Winters are like spring there. Lol. Sixty five degrees on New years was awesome.

Lol. Ny girlfriend lived in orange county for a year. To expensive out there! And for someone who hates planes. It would be a pain to get back to see family on the east coast.

hey guys, hoep everyone is having an awesome new year! just thought id stop by and and tell you guys why i have been so absent
went down to charlotte north carolina for new years to see my best friend from college, his wife and my God son (yes i am a godfather, which is scary anyone would trust me with their kid, or at least the believe their health is good enough to outlast his teen years, lol) my gf loved it their, cheap rent, lots to do and omg the foood choices are amazing, we both gained five pounds in about 2 days! hahaha it definatly has the southern hospitality feel, but most of the people that live in the area are norhterners which is cool. My gf loved it, so did i and it was pretty much the selling point for us to move there after college... oh yea 65 degrees for new years? PERFECT lol, then we start to head home on the 2nd.... the second we get across the border of virginia, it starts snowing, then it gets dark, roads end up covered in ice, sat in traffi for an hour to find a truck across all the lanes of the highway, get past that things start to speed up, roads still icy, thoguht maybe we should pull over for the night and pass by an exit, roads are bad so we say lets just get over for the night, next exit 5 miles.... then dead stop traffic for over two hours! mos tof the hotels were booked because people were going crazy, was standing in a huge line at comfort inn and decided to call in a reservation to make sure we got a room, thank god i did because they sold out of rooms before my place in line. eft the next day roads were bad all day snow on and off through out the day and through the mountains of West virginia, finaly saw blue sky, somewhat sunny and nice, stopped to eat got back on the road, and bam!!! darkness tons of snow horrible conditions again. at one point i felt like i was driving through the opening story of star wars, in the warp speed i couldnt even tell i was moving, see the lines on the road or anything, finally i couldnt do it anymore for fear of a truck smashing us or driving off the mountain... stopped at a rest area only 40 miles from the house and had to waiti out the snow for a couple hours, then waited to see a snow plow go by... finally got back on the road and drove about 40mph the rest of the way home in the one lane that was cleared (barely) made it home thank god! wake up the next morning with the stomach flu, you all know what that i slike so i wont go into details, i finally got over the fever today stomach still hates me, and now my gf is getting sick, wonderful start to the new years!!! ughhh 2 weeks till school starts back up, hopefully that goes a little better! anyone else have some crazy story? better or worse than mine? id love to hear it

Welcome back, ime! That sounds like quite an ordeal. We cant top your new years story but, ask mike about our road trip. You'll understand why we dont leave the house much anymore. I'm glad youre on the mend. Hopefully, youll be completely better by tomorrow!

Here's my thing with the switches. I'd prefer ss, but that's not gonna happen, no fault of yours. My problem with the chrome is not the look, it looks great, but I'm concerned about the plating wearing of from continued use. I have some nickel over brass beads, and eventually the nickel wears off.

As far as the black, is that more durable, or will the black paint scratch and wear off?

They still match pretty well. Chrome is Nickel over brass
yup I still have 30 or so black switches

Perhaps you can at least recoup some of the cost by selling them on the Bay--or have Amy (or someone) list them in the classies for you. I like the chrome, and while I've spent too much on mods recently to be ordering another Hog soon , I wouldn't mind taking a switch or two off your hands if you're not going to be able to use them...

Since it's their fault, they won't make it right for you? I would hope they'd at least sweeten a deal for you.

Maybe you could sell them to some other modders if you have some you don't want.

I got the 3 Cartzilla's that I ordered Friday and followed the directions and even let them soak with 100% PG for about a hour. At 3.7 volts using my provari after about 4 good hits I would get a dry hit. let them soak 10 mor minutes and the same dry hit.I lowered the voltage to 3.4 and went through the same process. I know I am a heavy vaper but they just don't work for me.

I am having the same issue with my hybrids I got from COV, I had to lower to 3.3 to get a vape that wasn't burnt,, surprising to me since I vape 1.5ohm atties from avid but these seem hotter
