I have one working right now, its just two rounded nail heads. Connect them with your finger to fire it. But it wont fire every time if your fingers are really dry.
I'm not an electrical guy by any means so its a very steep learning curve on these things for me =(

sounds like an awesome idea..

did I mention, I'm available to Beta Test it for you?

congrats on your tank tonight!

Mike's put one together from the questions he had to answer most often (funny how that worked out), and he posts it periodically. But it's about half info about the Hogs and half info about the method of sales--so he usually posted it near when the sales would start. But the method of sales has evolved a little bit--and the Hogs have evolved a lot--so it may not be as appropriate (and definitely isn't as compleat) as it once was. Someone could take one of those posts of his and update it a bit.

I thought "we need a centralized list," so I made one. You thought "we need a FAQ," so it looks like it's your baby now...

;)

If you are trying to use a touch sensor you will have to use a capacitance switch or you will have trouble with it firing at any voltage. The engineers here where I work have been fighting this issue over a year. The just had to put the extra cost in the units but we have had no complaints. I tested them with a finger tester and put 30,000 cycles without a failure.

Well, the neurologist says I have Primary Generalized Epilepsy. The good thing is, I should be on a medication that will get me under control. I just have to fight insurance a little bit, to pick it up.
Thank you all so much for your support. It means a lot more than you know.

I believe that was what a family member has as well. I believe he was prescribed dilantin for his epilepsy. (Whatever it is/was took care of his issues as long as he remembers to take it.) Glad to hear they have you on the right track to getting some relief!
