They'll definitely 'work'. (r)cr123 vary between 3.0v and 3.2v, the 3.0v actually being the same cell, but with built in resistance to make their nominal voltage closer to 3.0v. The tenergy will generally have a lower sustainable output, though. If it can't keep up with the demand in current, it must by necessity lower the output voltage. Also, if there is a protection circuit, you'll be flirting with the cutoff point. LiFePO4 generally don't, though. This latter case is easy to detect; it will simply stop firing. The former is more sneaky, and potentially somewhat irrelevant. Ultimately, it means the atomizer is not driven as hard, which equates to less vapor. However, given that tastes vary, it might not be all that noticeable, and the reduced output may well be your preferred spot. Most notably, they simply won't last as long.

Here is a great post comparing the two: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/269896-lets-talk-batteries-15.html#post5445458

And btw, none of this is specific to the Hog... just battery zealot stuff. Most in this thread would just say, "Pop 'em in and vape away." :)

I'm sorry, but I cannot find a post nor PM from you telling me which number you have. Just let me know which Hog you own and I'll be more than happy to add you to the list :)

I probably wrote that wrong - sorry! I meant I was suppose to be on the "to build" list. I know Hogwart has had a lot of things to deal with lately, so I told him not to make it a priority. I just hope he can get to me soon. :)

Ah, well, that list is Top Sekrit... Only Mike and the people on it know who they are unless the person on it divulges information. He will let us know the number and composition of a mod once it's finished, but we rarely know the WIP's unless someone starts spilling beans.

If you let me know what you ordered I can add you to the "Requested/In Progress" section of the public list, though...

:)

Hope everyone is doing well, thought I'd pop in and wave.
The last couple months have seriously sent mod building to grinding halt so I apologize to anyone that has a requested mod in.
We are still trying to get Amy's meds worked out. So I spend much of my time with her instead of building mods.
I don't want her to be alone when a seizure hits.

Hi Mike

It is time I follow this 3d and that I read positive feedback about your beautiful mods; so I would like to add a hog's VV to my collection (to be precise, two hog's VV:D ..... I'd take also one for a friend of mine, who has already contacted you long ago)
I would like to know when you think that there is again availability.

Thanks

P.S. I sent you also a PM...... I hope to have your answer:)

I'm trying guys. I got thirteen 18650 feeders with their 2nd coat drying tonight. 7 VV boxes complete and 6 more VV with final sanding done starting finishes tomorrow.
Have quite a few more VVs in various stages to get wrapped up this weekend. and hopefully I can get the general 18650 feeders wired up for sale sometime next week so I can order the VV chips and stainless switches, still way past broke from the medical bills the last couple months =( Oh I also have quite a few of the 18650 and 18350 non-feeders cut up, waiting for caps and inlays.
The general sale mods will have the chrome switches and catch cups.

Heres a few of the general sale mods.
Blurry pic I know
Wenge/Walnut, Satine/YellowHeart, Bolivian Rosewood/Jatoba,
Bocote/Cocobolo, Cocobolo/Bocote
Satine/Marblewood, Padulk/Hickory, Goncalo Alves/Jatoba, Canarywood/Lacewood
Canarywood/Marblewood, Curly Maple/Hormigo Negro, Canarywood/Lacewood, Sapele/Yellowheart

That's great news Mike. Can't speak for others, but i was ready to wait as long as it took, all i wanted and knew that i'd get for certain is the same quality Hog Mod that everybody loves, and that "in production" picture with my VV Marblewood+Black Palm has been imprinted in the retina of my lazy eye :)

I for one admire you for being this tough, being able to cope with all the problems in your life is nothing short of amazing, and my prayers go to your wife, i am certain that someday soon a solution will be found and everything will work itself out.

Best wishes from the other side of the globe.
