So, I saw a thread from a DIY leather maker that can make custom belt holsters for the provari here. I found a thread here on the forum showing off his work and reviews by customers.

I was wondering if anyone had tried a mini maglite leather holster with their provari before.

The DIY leather maker's looks really nice but I would much prefer spending $5 over something that's $25. If you have something else you're using to carry/protect your provari, please share.

Ok, so this is what I've found from doing a little research. The width of the mini maglite body is 18 mm. I measured the body of my provari and got about 22ish mm. I don't know how tightly the mag light fits in the holster but I assume it's got to be somewhat loose for being able to draw it out quickly. If it were a diameter of about 20mm, that would probably be perfect, allowing a good, snug fit for the provari that would loosen a little bit over time with use... I think (hope) that would be a logical conclusion to draw.

That's the one! Use it on my duty belt, and it works great!

I went to lowe's and picked one up last night. Works great and I'm a big fan of the swivel clip. I'm only concerned that the 510 connector may accidentally get bent/deformed if too much pressure is put on the tank/carto. Any issues with that?

I have 2 SerenityGear Leather holsters for my Provaris and they are worth every penny. They hold the mod securely and wear on the hip well.

They look really nice, and I'd love to pick one up at some point. Glad to hear they are as nice as they look!

Sweet, thanks. Yeah, that was what appealed about it, people reviewing on amazon were talking about using it for 15+ years.

Any idea what the inside diameter of the holster hole is?

Sorry, I forgot about this post!

I have it at home. I'll have to search a bit to find it because I'm not at that job anymore and don't use it now.

My Provari should be here (hopefully) this week, so I'll be able to try it out.

I looked at these at Lowes yesterday. Yes, they look OK, but I was concerned about the ProVari slipping out the bottom. Does the ProVari fit tight enough that coming out the open bottom is not a concern?

Nope, it can and will slip out, it's happened to me. I intend to do some stitching to somewhat close it up and prevent that from happening.

I lost one Serenity, which are GREAT, and have another on order. In the meantime I picked up a Nite Ize. Its TIGHT. Andyman97, does it loosen up? I ask because I couldn't even shake my Provari out of it.

It'll do while I wait for Tim to make my new one. What a schmuck I am for losing it
