Yep the pos is the center. just remember to pop the center and insulator out before you solder on the bat connector. I learned that on the hard way

Forgot to post these here last night. I finally did it! It took 2 boxes, 2 battery connectors, a helluva lot of solder, but I got it working! Woohoo! Those videos on how to properly solder in the modders forum certainly helped. It really makes me appreciate mods on a whole new level now, I look at my Reo Grand and just stare in awe at how Rob squeezed and concealed all the components in such a neat fashion.

Excluding initial costs of soldering iron all the material I burned through:
$0.79 for the box
$1.89 for the 510 connector
$0.49 for the button
= $3.17

Very nice job! I always love home-made devices and I have rocked a few myself over the last 2 years. It's simple really but it does take some finesse and even some laissez-faire to get it done.

Your first mod looks WAY better than my own first mod, that is for sure! Keep it up !

Thanks The hardest part I find was soldering the positive wire to the atomizer, everything else was a cinch to solder. I ordered another 30 of those damn connectors and I'll just sit and practice the art of soldering because I figure that once I have that down pat I'll be able to start modding more intricate contraptions hehe.

My next mod is going to be the 3 minute lighter mod That has to be one of the sweetest looking mods I've ever seen, talk about stealth vaping.

I was impressed with shipping too! Ordered some 510-510 adapters I'll need to use the liquinator tank, and 5 10ml bottles of their juice to try yesterday, and FedEx just dropped them off this morning!

Awesome little suckers, aren't they? Vaped great on the eGo -- really nice warm vapor, tons of flavour. The EMDCCs are even better. Fill one in the morning, put a fully charged battery in my Provari, and I'm good all damn day.

The Smoktechs have been great but I noticed that they eventually become loose at the connector, I can pop the whole casing right off and just pressing it against my lips makes it wiggle. Granted these have been in service for nearly 3 weeks but I've only refilled them twice each.

Are you using the clears? Those do come off -- which is actually really handy for cleaning. I've never had the metal ones come off though.

These mega dual coils we picked up are ridiculous in how well they perform. My only gripe is their size and that they don't use regular 510 drip tips. I'm not a big whistle tip fan. Can somebody point me in the right direction on regular carto sized dual coils, that can use 510 drip tips? Preferably in stainless. Something I can use on my ego with cone, or on my Omega with the dripshield.

Other than that, I love these suckers.
