I got my PT today. Wow. Just. Wow. It's a whole new world. I love the quality of the unit itself on first impression alone. I'm not a big fan of prominent brand labels on anything I own generally, but even the Puresmoker script logo on the side looks sweet. This really performs amazingly and I already know that I'm a high-volt convert. The 510's great for the bars and all and I don't think the general public is quite ready for the big mods--just try picking up a chick with a screwdriver-looking thing in your mouth, but now I need a high volt mod that I can take with me. The quality and performance of the PT has got me rethinking getting the Prodigy. I had been pretty much set on getting a Silver Bullet eventually since the Prodigy appears pretty large and I'm not looking for that. However, the PT is smaller than I estimated from pictures, so I'm wondering if the Prodigy is the same in that respect. Anyone who has both, how does the size of the Prodigy compare to the size of the PT handle?


(I really could've ranted about how much I love this thing for much longer, but I think most of it's been covered by others many times, and I didn't feel like typing that much)

The prodigy is approximately 1/4 inch longer than the passthru. From tip of adapter to end of hard plastic where the cable comes out. If you set the prodigy on a quarter, you can see the edges of the quarter sticking out.

Yep, definitely smaller than I thought. Looks like I'm probably gettin' one when I get the cash. Thanks for the excellent description. That should be on their website.

Thanks, MBolack, I'm feeling a little better- still have a few weeks of physical therapy ahead (3 mornings a week), but at least I can move my neck more now! That wasn't a fun few days.

Been there! Got knocked off of a ladder by an errant forklift a few years ago and dislocated a hip. Took forever, and lots of steroids, to get over.
Good thing is that I think the better flavor I'm getting out the the 901 w the Prodigy is satisfying my sweet tooth. I'm actually losing weight!

Haha. I kinda figured that's what you meant, but I didn't feel like it had reached "train wreck" status yet. I usually reserve that judgment for when Godwin's Law comes into play or people start flaming for some reason. LOL. I thought this one took a natural evolutionary turn.

Did I mention how much I effin' love this thing? Flavor, nic hit, throat hit, vapor density... amazing how much difference some good engineering and a couple volts can make. I'm also impressed with what a fine quality product it is. From what I can tell, Puresmoker is a small company consisting of maybe 2-3 employees. Is that right? If so, now I understand why all the hippies cry about the death of mom-and-pop start-ups. The big corporations could learn a thing or two from you guys.

It also says something about your product that when you scroll down the suppliers list, there's always waaay more "people viewing" than any of the other suppliers. Not only have you made a great product, but seem to have started a community with it.
