This indeed, is a distressing, awful event. I feel terrible for you. This could happen to any one of us. At least your family is allright. Prayers go out to you and yours. All the horrid weather events in the US this year - a definate dark time.

My thoughts are with you and all who are near you. The main thing is to remain safe - don't take any chances with the water. A few inches of water can still sweep you off the road (I think I read somewhere it can be as little as 6"). Keep us updated with how you are doing.
Please keep us posted as you can. Prayers going out for you and your family.

BUT, you and your family CAN'T BE REPLACED! (Houses, and material possessions CAN!)
If you need anything that Tim (aka BigHitter) or Lisa can't provide please pm me! I have more than enough material possesions to help out a reo family member who gets screwed by Mother Nature. Just let us know!

Yes I am flooded in as well, it looked like they were setting up pumps on one end of the street in front of the college though.
I have no idea where they plan on pumping the water too though.
I was able to get to a store about 300 yards from the house for some milk and water this morning so we are all set for quite a while if we are stuck.

For Amajn or Big Hitter: I know it's not terribly close but I live about 2.5 hours from both of you, and I have to go out to Scotrun,PA this saturday which is about 1.5 hours from you guys. If either of you need anything and don't mind making a drive, let me know.
