Holy Moly... Juice Ate My CE2!!!

I don't think it's alcohol that melts the tubes. I clean mine with isopropyl all the time and no deterioration. What I found is anything with malic acid as zoiDman mentioned, like sour/green apple. Also anything with oil in it like cinnamon (VB's Cinnabomb and Fire & Ice), Sassafrass, and Wintergreen flavors. They turn a rigid plastic to a soft pliable material (it exacerbates already present micro cracks).

I'm not a Chemist but I thought I read once that Esters can be formed when Alcohols and certain Acids are mixed.

Maltic Acid is bad for many plastics. So is Citric Acid I believe.

I just had my first "Holy crap" experience with a clearo. I have been using madvapes wintergreen for a while and I wanted a little more kick, so I got some Lorann wintergreen flavoring and added it. First I used it on a metal ce2 and it was awesome for about 3ml. Then it gunked up, and I had to dry burn it so much that it scorched the wick.

If you like wintergreen with a kick than I've got the place for you. MyFreedomSmokes. Geez Louise, My first drag nearly blew the back of my head off. Cleared my sinus and left the taste in my mouth for about an hour. It was way too potent for me so I toned it way down. You're not going to believe this but I added 2 or 3 drops to 3ml of unflavored juice and it was still a bit strong but vape-able if there is such a word. I'm going to get a lot of mileage out of that 10ml bottle. I'll have to stock up on unflavored though. I don't recommend using it in clear cartos or plastic tanks. Should be ok in the metal cartos though.

I dunno.. anything that's known to be strong enough to crack plastic I wanna stay away from. just don't know what breathing that stuff will do.. even though I do wanna try some of those flavors people rave about.. oh well.
