... have one that I've been using daily for about 3 weeks (Top Vapor Root Beer 6mg) without cleaning and still going strong. Using an ePower 14650. CE2 R4 XL metal body.

It just died! :(

I put it on the multi-meter and its reading 402K ohms. What's up with that? I expected an open (infinite ohms). Is it possible it's just way too dirty and needs to be cleaned?

I've seen that in other threads, and I've had it happen and cleaning didn't help. As for how it goes to high ohms, I can think of two possible causes. One is a cold solder joint that had a good physical connection and loosened up and two is the coil burned in two but wound up barely touching. I think the second is more probable since it worked for three weeks. But if metal is touching with a very small surface area and light pressure it can show a resistive connection on a meter.
