FYI, Vapor4Life is having a "Beat the Heat" Sale running right now for 22% off of everything. It goes until Midnight July 22nd (tomorrow night). I am very happy with what I have purchased from them. I got the manual batteries, instead of the automatic, just because I wanted to save money by topping off with juice, and I worried about juice getting into the auto batteries (which can kill them.) Many, many people fill with juice/top off with auto batteries and don't have any problems...but I'm kinda clumsy.:blush I like the manuals a lot, but there are a lot of auto-lovers out there! (I'm only talking about the V4L KR808d-1 style here.)

My son got the auto shorties starter kit, and he is already wanting to switch to the XL manual, and ordered one today. If you are on your computer a lot, a pass through (PT) is nice to have, and those are included in the starter kits, or you can buy separately for around $20 before discount.

The main thing, I think, is to look at what is important to you right now, and just get your feet wet to try it out. By using whatever you get, you will discover what you like and what will work best for you, and then you will be able to make future orders with more confidence. You don't necessarily have to spend a ton of money just to get started!:)

Best of luck! It is an awesome feeling to start counting the number of cigs you HAVEN'T smoked! :D

That being said, what is my best bet to duplicate the only cig I ever liked, Marlboro Menthol Light?

The third thing you should know is that you will probably change your mind.
There is a very good chance you will stop caring how much it looks like a cigarette.
There is a very good chance you will stop caring if it tastes like your old brand of cigarette.
And of course, there is every chance that you may not change your mind as well.

For cost cutting suggestion, visit the social group Pay It Forward and the Modders Thread.

I happily second this suggestion, PIF is a great place to start (we try to help as much as well can :)), and if nothing else, you can find the plans for a Nicostick in the modder's section, they're extremely easy to build (and very inexpensive as well :))

You can buy the 510 starter kit for $35 at Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. . Or, you can go ahead and search for one of the sale prices on an Ego kit. There were some suppliers online selling the dual Ego kit for $49.99 in the last few weeks. I think the price is back up to around $70 average.

The Ego is cartridge and atomizer compatible with the 510 and gives you 8-12 hours average on a battery. The 510 batts last about an hour and a half between charges. Most of us think that the Ego produces more vapor and taste due to the higher ampere hour rating of the Ego battery.

Many people buy the 510 and later purchase the Ego or one of its equivalents.

I got my 510 from Cignot and they are the best people to do business with that I know of. I got the 35.00 no box kit and it is great. I got it super quick and I have had no problems in a month with any of the items I have gotten from them. I like their VG USA mix too. I don't do as well on the PG, and this works for me.

I now have the Ego and I like it too. I got the Ego on sale at Pure Smoker and they are great to work with too!
