I built one out of an old usb cable. In mine there was a red wire and a black wire, rather obvious positive/negative. Just wired it up to a connector and a normally open switch and it works great out of usb or the iphone usb wall adapter.

edit:also, if you need a connector, there is always the rca jack mod or my coaxial cable mod, as well as several websites that sell oem style connectors..

It's not nearly that simple as voltages and polarities. Any 5V USB device will give you 5V with no load involved. Use your meter to determine the ohms of your atty, then use this app to determine what your current needs are to achieve the volts and power (watts/heat) you desire.

Online Conversion - Ohm's Law Calculator

Getting a USB power supply that can properly fire a Joye 510 2.2Ω atty will take some searching.

As an example a 5V @ 1.5A (1500mA) supply will actually be vaping at about 3.3V/5watts with a Joye.
