Hi guys. I'm running into a bit of a problem. I have a Janty (not sure of the exact model number) and out of the 4 batteries I have for it, none of them work now.

I also have a USB charger which no longer works. It has a battery inside a box midway through the wire and I suspect that battery is completely dead.

I'm trying to figure out what my best options are from what I have on hand. I would be OK with being tethered to USB 100%, so can I simply take the battery out of the USB charger and install a resistor to use it as a passthrough?

Or could I simply replace the battery with a wire so I was just using direct USB voltage without a buffer? What is the best way to go about doing this so it is reliable? I'd be OK with direct power and no battery since I'm usually around the computer.

Confused and looking for help and missing my vape action. Thanks in advance.

I make all of my passthrus as a direct tether, and I've never had a single problem, the higher voltage gives you a much better throat hit imo.

The USB charger I have does indeed have a manual switch on it. I tried to rig something "temporary" up but could not get continuity between the leads and the terminals in the section that screws onto the atomizer. Seems like there's something else wrong with the device.

Next step is to tear it down and see if I can trace back what the issue is.
