Well I really have no idea what I'm doing, but initial results were pretty good. I had a 5 or 6 year old bag of aromatic pipe tobacco lying around and since I had no intention of ever smoking it I decided to try and make ejuice out of it. I took an ounce or so and ground it up to a fine powder in a coffee grinder. I think the fact that it was pretty dry helped. Next I added a 50:50 mix of water and PG and microwaved it to the point where it began to boil. I then let it sit for about 12 hours and then filtered it through a fine mesh. I got a nice dark brown fluid off. I then simmered this on the stove to reduce it to about 1/3 the original volume. Had a great fruity (almost raisin like) odor. I then centerfuged it (ok, so I had one at work) and this removed all of the fine sediment. I then mixed the resultant fluid with PG at about a 1:8 ratio. A little on the runny side, but good vapor and I am extremely happy with the taste. Quite strong. I live in a small town and no local stores cary glycerine, but I plan to use a 50:50 glycerine/PG base on my next attempt. I am working on a mix using a virginia/perique tobacco but the initial odor I got was not nearly as pleasant. Have not been brave enough to vape it as of yet.

I have a friend who is a retired tobacconist with probably 50 pounds of bulk tobacco in his basement (and generally gives it to me free of charge). Gonna hit him up this weekend and work on an English blend using some 965 mix.

I'm not sure about the nicotine concentration, but it does have a decent throat hit. I will be more precise with my measurements the next time and try to make a calculated guess.

Any suggestions from those more experienced would be great.
