Hi All,
I gave up on vaping about a year ago after about a year. I want to try again but I'm out of the hardware loop. I gave up because of reliability issues. I'd buy 4 atomizers & have 3 quit within a couple of weeks, battery life, & etc. One big hassle. I used 3 or 4 different models of super minis. (I think that's the generic term--about the size of 100 mm cigarette.)

I want to try again. I'm thinking things have probably improved. I'm looking for advice on what to buy.

I'm a moderately heavy smoker. I prefer something that approximates a "real" cigarette. I still prefer the super mini but if the pen size is going to work better for me then this time I'll do it. No screwdriver types.

What are your recommendations? Reliability. Bang for the buck & etc.

TIA

Doris

I strongly recommend getting something a bit longer than a super-mini, but you don't have to leap up to penstyle length. Some of the best models are in the mini class. The big three are Joye 510, Kr8, and DSE901.

I recently wrote a comparative review of the 510, Kr8, and penstyle (e.g., DSE801 and Joye 302) and have now posted it (with an afterword about the 901) here in the Electronic Cigarette Reviews forum.

If you decide you want the 510 and are open to an e-cig the same length but fatter, you may also want to consider the eGO, Riva, Absolute MaxX, T-Rex, or Hello 016, which use the 510 atomizer but offer much greater mAh (increasing the puffs per battery charge considerably). The Absolute MaxX and T-Rex also improve the voltage; the Hello 016 increases the mAh much more than the others.
