Hey guys, using a .5 ohm horizon Arctic on my MVP3 pro.. had it about a week now and when I take it off to re-fill, it won't read the ohms unless I turn it basically as tight as possible when screwing the deck back in. Does this sound like a coil problem? I didn't want to switch out the coil right away because I've only been using this one for a few days but I feel like its probably not good for the threads to be tightening the deck on that much. The ohms also jump anywhere from .55(correct reading) to ~.87 and even up to 1.1 once)

Also, I've tried 2 other tanks on the mod and all read just fine, so its definitely something on the Arctic, not the mod. Will read consistent ohms when you put it on and when firing as well.

You could try this:

Remove the coil, and carefully pull out the very bottom pin (below the white rubber insulator) just a very little bit - you don't want to pull it out completely. This will ensure that the pin on the coil makes solid contact with the base (deck), without having to overtighten the deck.

If that doesn't work, I would try a new coil. You can store the used coil in a small zip-loc bag and reuse it if you find that isn't the problem after all.
